People he is suggesting that Sasuke will kill Naruto at the end of the manga. He is suggesting Sasuke wins in the end.

And as for my opinion on the matter, no Sasuke will not kill Naruto at the end. First its a Shounen manga, chances are we are going to get a fuzzy bunnies ending.
I think Kishi wants to make Naruto unforgettable by giving Naruto an epic and unpredictable ending!

Second, a major theme is that hard work can beat genius, if Sasuke wins than this theme is basically destroyed.
I will agree with you on this one but the overall storyline would be much better than following a theme IMO

Third Naruto said he wouldn't die until he becomes Hokage.
I'm doubting that Naruto will be a Hokage to begin with, because he doesn't need to be it anymore. He wanted the acknowledgement from the other villagers and he already got that.

Fourth having the hero die like that would send the wrong message to children.
Those children can go to hell. Naruto isn't exactly meant for children who want the hero to win, and I don't think Naruto dies, he will just lose the battle by a little tiny margin.

main theme of the manga teamwork and connect between past and future... not genius vs hardwork

Lets remember: Naruto also said that if he and Sasuke fight each other in a final battle they will both die.

Personally i dont see the two of them fighting this battle, but rather i see them joining forces; especially since Sasuke has now decided to join the cause. However, my belief is still as it was: that Orochimaru might try to possess Sasuke at some point (after the battle between Madara, Obito, Kages, has ended). At such a point i think the manifestation of the SO6P should take place.

However... as it is... Naruto will come out as the victor... regardless..

Actually, I'd say the main theme was bonding/friendship...

The main parallels in the story; Madara and Hashirama, Sasuke and Naruto and Obito and Kakashi. All of them formed bonds and they were subsequently broken at one point. It is to show the power of friendship and where it can get you.

Mad+Hashi - Was able to overcome hatred and build the leaf until Madara became corrupted.

Sasuke and Naruto - Both were comforted by the fact they had someone else like themselves who knows what it means to be lonely.

Obito and Kakashi - Kakashi's main motto came from Obito.

If that themed proved true then Gaara would have lost to Rock lee and a hard worker would of been in the finals. That was an offset theme in the manga, and is more subtle than the friendship parallels.

Naruto as the SO6P would probably just yawn and mountains would collapse. Sasuke can never equal that power,Their can only be one accept it Naruto is the one. chapter 629 just show you Naruto's future powers.

I know what you guys are thinking right now. I don't say Naruto is weaker than Sasuke and I am not saying that Sasule will be stronger. In the end they will be equal.
But, Sasuke will be stronger by a little margin because he is a killer. In the valley of the end the could have tied but Sasuke won because he didn't show any mercy, while Naruto did. And to the guys saying that thee manga is called Naruto, if Sasuke wins it will be at the end of the Manga so it won't matter if the hero dies or lives. And Sasuke isn't that far from Naruto power wise. He has huge chakra reserves by now, and the possibilities of his Enton are pretty possibility much limitless. That together with the ability that comes when you unlock the EMS should make him equal too Naruto.
Since Kishi won't make the ending too predictable, I think Sasule will be the last one standing. Not because he is stronger but because he doesn't show any mercy in their final clash in comparison to Naruto.

Let me know what you guys think and Why !
“Power is when we have every justification to kill - and we don't.” - Oscar Schindler.
Naruto's restraint is true power. He had every right to end Sasuke back in The Valley of the End, but he wouldn't do something like that. Mercy, forgiveness, this is what gives you power.
