I know what you guys are thinking right now. I don't say Naruto is weaker than Sasuke and I am not saying that Sasule will be stronger. In the end they will be equal.
But, Sasuke will be stronger by a little margin because he is a killer. In the valley of the end the could have tied but Sasuke won because he didn't show any mercy, while Naruto did. And to the guys saying that thee manga is called Naruto, if Sasuke wins it will be at the end of the Manga so it won't matter if the hero dies or lives. And Sasuke isn't that far from Naruto power wise. He has huge chakra reserves by now, and the possibilities of his Enton are pretty possibility much limitless. That together with the ability that comes when you unlock the EMS should make him equal too Naruto.
Since Kishi won't make the ending too predictable, I think Sasule will be the last one standing. Not because he is stronger but because he doesn't show any mercy in their final clash in comparison to Naruto.

Let me know what you guys think and Why !

Naruto counters Amaterasu via KC.
Sasuke is nowhere near at the moment... and he'll never be superior than Naruto; he is being portrayed as the freaking reincarnation of the SO6P, and you're saying that Sasuke will be the one standing?

What is this thread..

You do make good points! I'll throw my two cents in this thread of yours! True, Naruto has never beaten Sasuke in a match, but i don't think Naruto is afraid of killing anyone. The reason why he shows mercy is because Naruto has the "Will of Fire." You must remember all these characters Sasuke, Orochimaru, Madara, etc... They all became evil because they found a reason to turn evil. Madara felt disloyalty from the Uchiha's and Senju's, Orochimaru wanted to be the 4th Hokage but was turned down, and Sasuke need to live a life of darkness and hatred to surpass his brother. You saw how Naruto fought Pain mercilessly with the whole issue of killing Jiraiya.

Also, Naruto is currently stronger than Sasuke. Now i won't disregard that Sasuke is far by a lot of margins, because the EMS is a power-up that offers incredible power and endurance to his user. I just believe that if Naruto fights Sasuke. I don't see Sasuke beating him this time. Let me also bring you the point that compare to all the characters that Sasuke fought in the series. Sasuke has only shown restraint against Naruto, because deep down he cares about Naruto. You recall him saying that Naruto is his best friend in the Final Valley. Sasuke said he could, woulda, shoulda killed Naruto; but i don't think he could go through the thought of killing him.

Now going back to paragraph one, Naruto having the Will of Fire must guide others away from their evil path. You have seen why he doesn't kill Sasuke, because he sympathizes with Sasuke. He knows that's not the true Sasuke it's just a carbon copy full of hatred. When you saw Sasuke screaming at Naruto when they met in the bridge. He screamed why Naruto doesn't leave him alone. Naruto responded the simple words you're my friend. I don't think that's all there's to it. Naruto just has strong beliefs that he never quit on someone. After all, Naruto is trying to be Hokage, so it wouldn't make sense that he quit on Sasuke (former resident), because then he wouldn't be able to lead a village.

i agree with what others have said, naruto at this stage is stronger than sasuke; that and the fact that the SO6P is beginning to manifest within naruto.

however, i also agree with you on the point that kishi is known for bringing in new aspects to the story.

i always felt that sasuke and naruto were a reflection of the SO6Ps yin and yang attributes.

sasuke would need a genuinely brand new Rinnegan power up to stand up to the table.

Naruto ain't gonna get no Rinnegan! The Juubi was just reminded of the SO6P and the only way to depict him was to show his eyes because the rest of his face is unknown. Naruto will be the Younger brother and Sasuke the Older brother.

People he is suggesting that Sasuke will kill Naruto at the end of the manga. He is suggesting Sasuke wins in the end.

And as for my opinion on the matter, no Sasuke will not kill Naruto at the end. First its a Shounen manga, chances are we are going to get a fuzzy bunnies ending.

Second, a major theme is that hard work can beat genius, if Sasuke wins than this theme is basically destroyed.

Third Naruto said he wouldn't die until he becomes Hokage.

Fourth having the hero die like that would send the wrong message to children.

In terms of a fight between Naruto and Sasuke there is nothing to be gained by Sasuke winning other than it being unpredictable. And unpredictable is not always a good thing.

Please remember that their themes were always meant to coincide at this point, what on earth would the series gain by having Sasuke win? If he wins, then screw it. He was right and the rest of the ninja world including Naruto were all wrong. That contradicts the main theme that you can't do everything yourself and that hatred is never the right source for power.

Sasuke was always raving about how they were never equal. Remember in chapter 485, Naruto told him that he STILL did not acknowledge him as an equal. This is something Naruto always wanted to establish, to prove himself in front of Sasuke.

There is too much at stake for both characters to have it end any other way. I say Naruto is the last one standing, but I think the real victor of that fight is Sasuke. His character gains something huge by finally seeing things from a new perspective.

And again, this is a shounen and marketability and sales come into question and a hero that loses at the end of his own series usually doesn't sell too well so... You know.

This reminds me if an old saying there is such a thing as a author trying to be too clever.

Like this guy said being unpredictable is not always a good thing, trying to be unpredictable has killed many good stories.

Why cant sasuke be simply stronger?
Its a most cliché, popular, common, stereotypic scenario where the rival of a hero is clearly stronger, but in the end some ass pull happens and hero wins due to emotions, bullshit etc.
