What i enjoyed:

- That old man going apesh*t. His freakin strong!!!!! [With a former bounty of over 500 million, i'm not surprised U_U]

- Luffy escaping whilst fight is going on. Also, how's trying to still pretend his L-U-C-Y XD

- Seeing Cavendish's sword. Yet another legendary sword was epic Hmm imagine if Zoro or Kinnemon meet this guy later on this
arc where there is havoc going everywhere because of the marine attack which is going to happen any day now.

- Bartholmew chucking a piss hahaha. Last chapter he was just sitting there now his pissing. He gets on my nerves!!

- Bellamy taking out those two ugly ****s was fun to watch

What i didn't enjoy

- Seeing the Hack guy [ fishman dude, jimbei's friend] lose to bartholomew. I wanted him to last longer...:dunno:

- No-body notice luffy hanging where he was

- Show us what the marines are doing!!

- Also , the situations with the others!!!

The Devil Fruit is about creating barriers, that's for sure. But given the simplistic theme of every Devil Fruit, it's likely that a barrier fruit would be called Wall Wall, rather than Barrier Barrier. Just like Door Door is not called Portal Portal.

Oh no, I was talking about the ability of a barrier that surrounds the user. I thought you were implying that he could "place" walls wherever he wants or near him. XD

It might also just be that he can just deflect everything within a certain distance from him. In a certain way that would be the opposite of Law, who can control everything in a limited space. In Fairy Tail the character Midnight had that ability.

Deflection ability is already coined by the Paw Paw fruit. Something like that would be too similar. I don't know, sometimes simpler is better with One Piece

However, most people do not notice it or fail to awaken it. Broadly, there are two types of Haki common to everyone, given the proper training; however, there is a third type that only a certain group of "chosen ones" are said to possess. In simple terms, Haki is an ability to sense spiritual energy and overpower enemies.

Busoshoku Haki allows the user to create a force similar to an invisible armor around themselves. Similar to Tekkai, this allows the user to defend against attacks that would otherwise cause them harm. Only significant physical force can overcome this defense; for example, Luffy striking Boa Marigold hard enough with Gear Second techniques to send her reeling.

I don't think its that big of a stretch to think he can expand his busoshou haki outwards and produce an invisible barrier, taking the knowlkedge and the uses of haki. Seems the best option for me.

That would mean having Haki better than that of an admiral. His bounty is too low to possess that type of skill :|

Depends. You can be the most powerful man in the seas but if you never trully left a witness of your power or engaged against the Marines, then who will set your bounty high? Why would they have reasons to?

What seems more plausible though ? It is a completely advanced form of haki that we have never seen before ( Coming from a random super rookie ) or it is a DF ability ?

Look at Luffy and Bellamy. Luffy is competing because it is his brother's fruit, and he wants no one else to nom it ! Bellamy is competing for recognition from Flamingo. They both have DF abilities but do not necessarily want the power of the fruit. Bartolomeo is notorious and seems to enjoy either terrifying people or causing destruction. If I were someone evil and enjoyed inflicting pain/ killing people then a coliseum arena tournament would be freaking awesome for me !

I agree to something along those lines. Looking at his behavior, would it not be another insult to the event?
So far, all Bartolomeo has done is make a mockery of the entire coliseum event. Why stop now?

In participating in the event, he's just further enhancing his already fearsome/insane reputation.
