Moral and Immoral choices

Moral Choices - A choice that affects yourself or others that increases or supports the idea of Health, Welfare, and Happiness, or all.

Immoral Choices - A Choice that affects yourself or others that decreases or reduces the amount of support for the same.

I have found that these definitions are universally accepted as right and wrong. Making all thoughts rational, all Choices A conscious decision based on the outcome.

Re: Moral and Immoral choices

It comes down to conflicting ideas.
People fighting for what they believe.
He is displaying a real issue which i think showcases a bigger problem. Are problem with understanding one another.
It is the greatest divider between man and his fellow people.
The winner is the one who will write the history books. Its all about perspective.
If either side won then they are the ones who wind up being right.

For the most part true. There have been rare cases, but I wouldn't expect any of those rare cases to happen anytime soon.

There is no morals. It's what people think, not what is implied on society.

There's no much thing as "living codes." We live randomly.

I disagree. There are moral codes that exist in every society while their those made specifically in their own societies.

Not exactly. We all hold standards within' are selves. When ten people get together, and think the same. It makes a moral code. It happens in society all the time.

That may be true, but think about the laws of murder, stealing, etc. There are even common ways to punish those whom break laws even if certain societies decide to get rid of the harsher punishments. It shows that we have the common sense to consider what moral and immoral at the base level at least. Variations usually come with politics. The people or govt. of one nation or area consider themselves to be superior to the next so they feel as if their variable is better than the others and therefore try to police the world or force to submit to beliefs and ways of living different than their own. The base morality is still there, but the variation brought on by politics (for whatever reason) that take some of the moral issues in a different direction a lot of times. That doesn't necessarily make our codes random, though. It fits with the propaganda.

Is there a specific argument or point you're trying to make here? I'd thank you for the definitions, at least.
