Ok Fine. It can affect people even if they don't have eye contact....And yes, they can maipulate time...INSIDE the genjutsu. The sun will rise eventually...and everybody would wake up like : "WTF? What mess is this??Who am I? Didn't I marry Megan Fox?"
They can control the Genjutsu, but not the Nature itself.
It is still flawed....

Yeah yeah...But what about the people who DON'T have Hashirama cell's?? Will they starve to death??? They will be pissing and pooping inside their pants?? WOW! They will die in days...and the whole point of this jutsu would be null. So why not just CLEANSE the whole world instead of this flawed plan?

I think you don't seem to understand that even if the sun comes out, it doesn't mean the moon is gone. The moon is still there, you think it just, disappears? It just shifts on the other side of the planet............................duh lol.

And even then, the genjutsu will still be in effect, for the moon is like an eye that sees all.

You can't fling around the word eons as a passage of time like it's nothing. Besides people would notice why they haven't died after millions of millions of years. Also, people would starve eventually if they're in a genjutsu.

Why do people think when someone casts a genjutsu they constantly have to use chakra to keep it set. When the genjutsus activated against a person they can just go do what they please.

I asked the same thing, including if Madara might run out of chakra. I know if you have the Juubi sealed in you, you must have a shitton of chakra but you're using a chakra taxing technique casted all the way to the freaking moon and reflect the genjutsu and a visual(eye looking like the Juubi eye). That's got to take quite a lot of chakra and he'll have to keep standing there holding the genjutsu. Won't he starve?

The sage evolved and surpassed anything that was considered 'human' when he became the juubi's jinchuriki.
Once Madara becomes jin of juubi, he won't have to worry about, eating, or losing chakra, the juubi IS NATURE itself. It's like a ongoing manifestation of the world, like the air you breath, the water you feel, shit like what nine tails said.

The juubi is basically a god.

Well the moon doesn't disappear...but it shifts to the OTHER SIDE of the world...The light reflected cannot arrive to the other side of the world. And in the end it is just flawed. People will eventually die within days. Without water + food = death. Even without proper hygiene a person can die.
So if Madara doesn't babysit THE WHOLE WORLD, cleaning,feeding then...its just a complete fail.
The Genjutsu will last a week...and then everybody would be dead.
