mental health and bullying

I've been talking to a friend of mine who suffers from mental health conditions as do I and he has come to the conclusion that no matter what we will never be accepted. I think he has a point. No matter what the condition is, a person who suffers from a condition that affects their mental health will get bullied or won't be accepted and is hated. Why exactly do people hate others because of their mental health?? why are people hated for suffering?? why bully someone because of their mental health?? anyone who does in my opinion are sad and low and pathetic. What is the point seriously of bullying people knowing the risks?? what is the point of bullying someone who has a mental health condition?? what is wrong with society today, honestly??

ei, if your dad rapes and beats your mum you could possibly end up being more, agressive to women.


i got bullied for being small and nerdy since the age of 5 to 14.
one day i stood up to my bully (without fighting) and he never spoke to me since. =D

True but mental health issues are nothing to be scared of. There is no reason to be scared of mental health issues or people who suffer from them

In my school we have some program for people with major mental health conditions. Sometimes, one or two of them would come to our gym class but our class would be very nice to them. I don't think it's everyone who treats them bad just certain douches.

But .. basically I guess you could say .. that they're the odd one out .. and because of their mental problems they're easier to pick .. And bullies just want people who are weaker than them .. People with mental problem ( Depending on which kind ) .. are inferior to them .. I can't say I know much .. but society displays people the same way .. so when there is someone different .. they've just got to take advantage of that BR00 U_U ..

Though I hope you stand up for your friend because he seriously needs someone right now

I think most schools should do that and I know its not everyone but a lot of people do it

Sorry about that but I don't see people as inferior or superior and nobody should because despite no-one being the same everyone is still people. Trust me I am. I just hope he manages to get the proper support he needs. Like from a specialist or from family

I have never picked on a kid with mental illnesses because that's scummy. However, I have rarely come into contact with a person that has one, and with my only interaction being the crazies on tv then in my head I am afraid of those people. It frustrates me honestly.

what i dont get is, the teachers always say they can stop the bullying, they never have and never will.

what schools need, not even schools, what friends need to do is, if they see a mate getting bullied, run up to that punk and punch him square in the face. he wont start on 4-5 how ever many of you there are and he will of learnt his lesson.

saying that, in todays world you can never really win against a bully/bad guy because theyll just return with 10 of their friends. so its either get beaten or get beaten badly really. =/

Well the t.v tends to over exaggerate people with the mental health issues but there are people who are proper crazy. But honestly you shouldn't be scared of them, they are people just like everyone else
