Everyone alread knows/speculates by now that when Naruto and Kurama receives the Yin part from Minato there will be some new power ups!
So this is just to buttress some key points in the situation. Please read all before commenting!!!
Although I couldn't add all the pages because it will make my post so much longer than it is now but here goes my hypothesis:
1) First of all, Yin Release means ("Dark Style" or "Shadow Style") techniques, is based on the spiritual energy that governs the imagination, it can be used to create form out of nothingness. When combined with Yang Release, it allows the use of Yin–Yang Release e.g Izanagi, Creation of all things, planetary devastation etc.
2) We all know that SO6P shared the "power and abilities" of the Juubi into 9 tailed beasts; each and everyone of the tailed beasts have their unique abilities and they all have their natural affinities.. for example 1 tail - shukaku (Earth release: sand); 2 tails - Matatabi (fire release); 3 tails - Isobu (Water release); as the number of tails go higher, they tend to possess unique abilities like 4 tails - Son Goku (Lava, Earth, and Fire release), 6 tails - Saiken (water and acid release); 8 tails - Gyuki (wind, Water, and Ink release) etc...
I bet you understand me now, but we are yet to find out what 9 tails - Kurama can really do (however we have seen that he has Juubi's speed too:
also his life force make trees grow, so we can at least hypothesis that he has earth and water and may be even more, depending on when we see the power of his Yin part.
He might even have genjutsu because according Second Mizukage "genjutsu falls under the broad category of Yin Release", so therefore The Yin part of Kurama might grant Naruto some mental/spiritual power or even genjutsu... or may be it will allow Kurama full transformation and the ability to use yin yang release because we know that the 10 tails (Juubi) can use Yin Yang release to create things like the storm.... The question is: who did SO6P give this power to???!
3) The answer is that he gave it to Kurama that's why he is regarded as the strongest of 9 of them and the closest to the 10 tails, that is why Naruto has the 6 tomes on his neck and he can sense emotions and feelings in people's chakra (just like the Juubi sensed Naruto trying to access the SO6P's power)... Hence, once Kurama receives his Yin chakra, he might perform Yin Yang releases like the Juubi, that is why he knew about the Tenpen chii technique that the Juubi used:
4) There is also the possibility that Kurama will also be able to "Heal"... not just Naruto but other people too and his surrounding, due to his Yin Chakra and the force of life (Yang) because we have seen him heal Naruto through his chakra (but this was done with yang chakra where as with Yin you can even heal more)... For example, the Yin Release used by Hashirama without hand signs (according to Madara). And even Tsunade. Over a period of time, Tsunade focuses and builds up chakra in the seal mark on her forehead. The release command disperses the seal and allows the stored chakra to pump back into her body. She used this stored chakra to perform the Creation Rebirth technique on herself and healed a vast amount of people through Katsuyu (her summoning).
5) In the end I think they will get rid of Madara and then Hashirama will use his wood technique to hold the Juubi at bay.... This is true because we know that; By the time of the formation of the shinobi villages, Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage, used his Wood Release techniques to capture and give several tailed beasts to the other shinobi villages as peace treaties, in order to stabilise the balance of power between them.
Tobi now Obito thinks he is using Naruto, but his actions are only bringing Naruto to the point of being the next SO6P as his reincarnation. We have seen Naruto trying to access this power by combing all the tailed beast chakra... the only one that was missing is 8 tails - Gyuki who is still in Bee atm. Many people said 1 tail and 7 tails were not there but look closely at d top right for 1 tail and bottom left for 7 tails here:
