Here are better questions and just theories. If the tailed beasts don't die with their host, how the hell did it get out of that dimension? Did Obito make an alliance with the Mist and return it? How else would Yagura get it?
Supporting points:
-Obito took Rin's body to the Kamui dimension, the 3 tails is assumed to still be inside Rin at the time.
-Obito (as far as we know) had no knowledge of fuuinjutsu, or strong fuuinjutsu used to seal/unseal a tailed beast.
-By this time, Madara is dead, so no outsider is controlling the Mizukage.
Now to answer the big question on why the hunter nin wanted her body. Something was obviously special about Rin, why would they choose her over any other Leaf Ninja? Jinchuriki are hand chosen because they have the right chakra and body to withstand holding a tailed beast (which makes the Uzumaki ideal for this).
We know her surname is Nohara meaning field, First name Rin which means; dignified, severe, cold. I also looked up the literal meaning and not just name, it came up with phosphorus. Which is a mineral found in the water, soil, and sediments . HMMMMMMMMM. Further tying her to the Mist?
Namikaze; Waves and wind.
Uzumaki; Whirlpools
All of these names have water as a connection, is it just coincidence or is Kishi trying to tie them together some how?
Is it perhaps:
Uzumaki---> Namikaze---->Nohara(vice versa since we know little about the last two families)
^this is going out on a limb, even for me, but it just got me thinking. Could be totally meaningless, don't mind if it is since it's just thoughts that I am willing to share with you people. Respect it none the less.
