Mental illness in the Akatsuki

Many members of the Akatsuki show classic signs of multiple types of common mental illness. That being said,I believe only a select few of them are truly sane people. Lets go with what we know so far:

Nagato/Pain: Megalomaniacal to the extreme, delusions of granduar, maybe schizoid

Obito: Sadistic, violent, conniving, manipulative and pathological liar, extreme hatred for the world

Deidara/Sasori: Both classic narcissists, in love with themselves and their expressions of themselves

Kakuzu: Obsessed with the accumulation of wealth, a sign of a warped self-preservation instinct

Hidan: Sado-masochist, violent and unstable personality, loves inflicting pain on himself and on others

Are there any others?

Kakuzu has FIVE hearts, if that isn't desperation for self preservation, I don't know what is.

That's totally right, the five hearts thing shows how obsessed he is with keeping himself secure

Still trying to figure out Itachi. You are pretty close actually, he may have had a depressive thing going on
