a question about the plan the let the 3 tails planned rampage

so in the latest manga we were told that rin killed herself so that the 3 tails coudn't go on a rampage in konoha.
but i wonder how were they planning to do so? if rin was already suppressing the 3 tails how do they wanted to get it out? i think this is flawed. and i think they messed it up, rin deserved better

That plan was a failure from the get go. Just another reason why the Mist is classified as the weakest village.

The Leaf are known to care for their comrades no matter what. If Rin returned, she would have lost control eventually and that would cause a lot of damage to the village. This would weaken their forces and leave them vulnerable for attack.

Yeah it was a smart plan but honestly.... If Konoha stopped the tailed beast then there would be 2 jinchuuriki in the leaf village lol
