How did this show go from Naruto being an underdog to him being a fkn reincarnation of a god

Kishi totally fked it up, I always liked Naruto cuz he was an underdog, then he became the child of profecy, and now he's about to be the Sage of 6 Path reincarnation like are you fkn kidding me.

Neji was right in part 1 where he fought Naruto and told him its all about destiny. Remember? Naruto kept saying that its not about destiny but look what happened.

Naruto wanted to prove to the villagers that he is capable of becoming the Hokage that never ever became in the past.
And look what happened.
His way towards saving the world made him a deserving Hokage candidate.
In one way or the other, he was destined to be the strongest but he never considered that way like Neji.
All these war and stuff are just obstacles for him towards becoming the Hokage and soon will be acknowledged by every past Hokage.

the pain arc meant nothing,naruto didn't even know he was the child of prophecy until the raikage said something about it,if naruto stayed the way he is and let the prophecy fulfill itself then you're right.
he wasn't handed kurama's power,he fought for it,endured his whole life terrible chakra control because of it, and overcame it,and in the end had to prove himself worthy to the bijuus in order to get their trust and help.

:sy: Just because he was the child of prophecy doesn't mean his destiny was set in stone.. look at Minato or Nagato they could've been so too but Nagato turned evil and Minato sacrificed his life early on for naruto and Konoha. There was plenty of times Naruto could've died but there was people there to protect him. Early in the beginning he would've turned evil if he wouldnt have met someone like Iruka. You say Naruto aquired his powers like nothing? Tell me what did he get handed to him? He worked hard to learn Sage mode, Rasengan plus all the variants, Rasenshuriken, Summoning jutsu, and he had to fight in a life or death battle against the Kyuubi to get chakra form... he needed his moms help too. So get out of here with your bullsh*t
