What Tobi said in this page really took me off guard when I saw it for the first time. It seemed weird how he sympathized with Naruto and Bee because they were hosts, and understood that fulfilling such a role could be miserable.

But now that Rin is confirmed to be a jinchuuriki, and was used as a weapon against Konoha, this page makes a lot more sense.

Still Kishi added layers to Obito's character with this. When he pulls a plot twist like this it's always best to go back and reread the manga, because there is usually stuff like this that foreshadows what's to come.
