There is a possibility that tsunade knows ftg, but there is no proof. Ftg can transport other objects/ppl as well, remember minato used it to transport Kurama. So no, there is no proof that tsunade can use it.

Besides, I doubt that Minato gained the ftg from tsunade, its much more realistic that he gained it from the third directly. After all he was called the 'professor' for knowing all jutsu in konoha, right?

I'd say there might be someone who can use ftg amongst the konoha ninjas, but its not tsunade (otherwise she would have used it before).

How Minato knows FTG? Maybe there are notes on a Senju scroll containing said jutsu. When he became Hokage I'm sure he ran into the scroll and being the genius that he is, was able to master the jutsu and make it his own.

Tsunade devoted herself to medical ninjutsu and left little time to learn chakra nature or complicated jutsu because that wasn't her goal. (not saying she doesn't have them) She just had no interest in learning it, or simply couldn't for whatever reason.

Why is no one commenting on the obvious here lol? FTG (despite having thunder in it's name) is not a lightning style jutsu... it is a space/time jutsu, Minato mentions in the show that Tobirama also had s/t jutsu. Tsunade has lightning release yea (pretty obvious) but she doesn't have space/time jutsu... so she can't use FTG.

All I see is people saying "no" and no one using any logic at all...

Ftg requires NO chakra because it uses a seal in order to do the jutsu. Wiki it if u don't believe me. Also she can't do it and she didn't teach shit to minato. If she could then why the hell did she need the tooth pick guy who use to be on minatos team when he fought raikage and B. Minatos team that was there for that fight r the ones who used ftg to get tsunade to the desert to fight madara

ok everyone keeps bashing this thread but apparently almost none read it thoroughly. While what was said about who made FTG and who taught it to who, is all PURE SPECULATION, there is still a basis to believe that Tsunade may know FTG. They've never said that Tobirama knew FTG, they just said that his space/time ninjutsu was very advanced but that doesn't mean it was FTG. Kamui is a space time ninjutsu Too!

they said that Tsunade had the FTG, so she has know the seals at least. then Tsunade said that they would save the FTG to use against Madara so it sure implies that she knows it at least. im not saying that she definitely does or anything, but there is plenty enough evidence in the manga think that she might or even probably knows it.At

Tsunade has the marking of the FTG seal, it means that she able to be transported by the guard that minato taught FTG to. These guards need eachother to be able to do it.

1. May I start by denouncing the stupidity of the post and its comments. The original post is the most baseless argument I have ever seen in my entire life, and you should be ashamed if that is your actual opinion. FTG is not a clan based jutsu, to say so is mere speculation. To insist that tsunade has it just because Tobirama is the first KNOWN user of it is even worse speculation.

2. Not only was the original post bad, but some of the responses were just atrocious as well. For instance, the conjecture that Minato has low chakra reserves is false, as it takes a considerable amount of chakra to summon Gamabunta, and he was able to pull it off. The conjecture that FTG takes a small or large amount of chakra are both speculation, as not enough has been seen to make a conclusion, although the only reasonable conclusion that can be made now leans more towards not that much chakra. Either that, or he has an immense chakra pool, or both. Anyways, people making speculation based conjectures just disappoints me.

3. The ABC logic responses were also dumb. Tsunade having not used it in places that she could have does not prove that she doesn't have it, no matter how ridiculous it is to assume that she does have it. Becuase I don't use a gun in a fist fight does not mean I don't have a gun. It could mean that I'm saving my bullets (conserving chakra perhaps) or that I don't want to let others know I have a gun. And this is a story. Many things are not done for the sake of plot. If it weren't for the sake of plot, Obito could have, with nagato, after taking the ninetails from kushina, captured every tailed beast a while ago and finished the eye's moon plan with no interference. Did he? No. Could he? Yes. Just because Madara didn't use all the paths of the rinnegan, and just because Tobi ha only used one path, doesn't mean that the others are unavailable to them. It's just skipping a step of logic.

4. Tobirama can definitely do FTG, I can't believe that I read that he couldn't. Well, actually, I can, but it irritates me.

is where he uses Hiraishingiri, a variation of the Hiraishin no jutsu, otherwise known as FTG. If he can use this variation, he can use FTG, as the jutsu is just coming out of FTG directly with a katana slice.

5. Tobirama is better than Minato at FTG, with the soul reason being that he did not need to use a seal in order to use it. He simply did it, he was not confined by the location of seals. In that sense, his use is just like Kamui's, except without the ability to locate where anyone is, which is what makes his space time ninjutsu inferior. Thus, with the same ability minus the restriction that Minato has, we can say that Tobirama's is better.
