I was reading that little thread about who you would want to have as your teacher if you could pick one of the five Hokage, and it got me to thinking.
Who exactly was the better teacher, and why?
Hashirama Senju: No team. Known for: Kekkei Genkai: Wood Release. On occasion helped Tobirama in training Hiruzen as he was being groomed to be the third Hokage at an early age.
Tobirama Senju: Team Tobirama. Known for: Best water nature user \ Creator of Edo Tensei. Students: Hiruzen Sarutobi \ Homura Mitokado \ Koharu Utatane
All three students grow up to be people of political power. Hiruzen becomes known as "The God of Shinobi" (due to his large knowledge of ninjutsu) \ "The Professor". Homura and Koharu end up forming "The Konoha Council" and are advisors to the current Hokage (Hiruzen).
Hiruzen Sarutobi: Team Hiruzen. Known for: Known as the "God of Shinobi" (due to the largest knowledge of ninjutsu in all of Konoha) he knew over 1000 different ninjutsu. Students: Jiraiya \ Orochimaru \ Tsunade Senju.
All three students become known as "The Sannin (Legendary Ninja)". All three become Kage level, two becoming Kage of their own village with the exception of Jiraiya turning down the offer of Hokage.
Minato Namikaze: Team Minato. Known for: Space Time ninjutsu \ Creator of Rasengan Students: Obito Uchiha \ Kakashi Hatake \ Rin Nohara.
Two of his students are presumed dead, one revealing he is one of the main antagonists of the series far later, while the third becomes a shinobi of well renown. Kakashi Hatake becoming Hokage (candidate), if only for a few hours, and then being known as the best option for Hokage if Tsunade dies.
Tsunade Senju: No team. Known for: Known as one of the strongest Kunoichi in history. On occasion helped Naruto in training when Jiraiya was unavailable.
So, who exactly was the better teacher, and why? And knowing that you can not have someone train you to learn their special moves as the point of them being special is only the truly gifted can learn them, not every random ninja on the block, who would you want as your teacher?
