Treyarch's never done a Modern Warfare game. Call of Duty 4, 6, and 8 were Modern Warfares, and they were done by Infinity Ward. 5, 7, and 9 are done by Treyarch. CoD: Ghosts is being produced by IW.

Because it's their turn. IW and Treyarch alternate every year. The next CoD after Ghosts will be done by Treyarch, unless their contracts change.

Hmmm they should have waited 2 or 4 years. Before releasing another game. Fans will become sick of it if they realease yearly especially when it is the same thing over and over again.

I find it hard to get into these games, its just a slightly new design imo but the same linear story line over all.
