Cut the Hiraishin > ALL nonsense. Minato's been massively de-hyped. This is what we though:

1. Minato invented Hiraishin.
2. Minato invented Shiki Fūjin and other fūinjutsu‎.
3. Minato defeated the great Madara.
4. Minato singlehandedly defeated Kurama.
5. Minato was the greatest Hokage.
6. Minato was an amazing leader.
7. Hiraishin was instant, unavoidable death.

That would put him above almost anybody in intellect, power, etc. But this is the reality:

1. Tobirama invented Hiraishin.
2. Kushina taught him the fūinjutsu‎.
3. Madara was actually baby Obito.
4. Kushina and many others helped against Kurama.
5. Hashirama was the greatest Hokage. Tobirama and Hiruzen might be better.
6. Minato admitted to having many shortcomings as leader.
7. Hiraishin was countered with a tentacle from range, then just a sword.

Etc.

I wouldn't under estimate Minato and his FTG, but he is over hyped at times. And I certainly wouldn't say any base ninja is superior to him. .

You're right, the title was a bit misleading.

My point was that you don't need this-or-that to counter Hiraishin and that's it's far from invincible.

I see no de-hyping on your arguments since majority of what you said was never said in the manga to begin with. It's only that you thought of it, and finally realised it wasn't the case during the manga. I see nothing bad in taking inspiration to others and create your jutsu. Minato's Hiraishin seems to be different than Tobirama's. He probably improved it by making it instant thru seals. Minato can use Shiki fujin without the mask in the contrary of Uzumaki's. He simply took jutsus and improved them

Besides that, another paramater you fail to notice is that on the first panel, Bee used his long range tentacle attack to protect A because even before Minato teleported to A, he most likely noticed the kunai

And even attacking from behind, Minato still had time to put a marking on him. Look how shocked and baffled A about it(he is even sweating just realising how fast he reacted)

And notice how much of a effort it took him to be able to intervene at that moment(he hardly even breath) with A asking him if he is ok
