The 14-year-old, who has not been identified, hired the prostitute through a website and arranged for her to come to his home in Milwaukee, in the state of Wisconsin, on Wednesday, police said.

Dareka Brooks, 22, allegedly arrived at his house, followed him into his bedroom and told him to remove his pants, local police official Margie Bolger said.

As the teen sat on the bed she suddenly pulled out a can of pepper spray, blasted him in the face and fled with his piggy bank and iPad, Ms Bolger said.

After the boy called the police they used the iPad's security system to track it to a motel 16km from his home.

Brooks was charged with armed robbery and has not entered a plea.

The case continues.

Correct me if Im wrong, but isn't prostitution illegal? So wouldn't the guy have been busted by the cops for hiring a prostitute in the first place? The kids only 14, what the hell is he doing hiring a prostitute for? Personally I think he deserved it. Not in a vengeful way or anything, but just to humiliate him and teach him a life lesson about prostitution.

Minors don't get charged for entering a contract, although he will definitely get hit with his parents later.
