See sir derp obito, he has me countless threads on juubi conscious
Nice theory! It seems plausible enough, and the symbolism between the SO6P and the Juubi is an interesting concept to base info off of. C: If I were to give constructive criticism however, I would say that first of all you need to work on your grammar and structuring of sentences. When people take a look at your theory and they see no capitals at the beginning of sentences, no spaces after periods, overuse of ellipses, question marks and run-on sentences, they're going to assume you're not intelligent. This is because a fair percentage of people associate spelling/grammar with intelligence. Which in my opinion isn't accurate but anyhow.
The last criticism I'd give is to next time re-read your theory before you post it, and see where certain sentences and paragraphs would go better next to one another. This keeps the reader on topic and segueing to similar points and concepts.
That's about all! Overall I'd give it a 3.5/5, and it's better than most theories I've seen out there c:
Just work on the stuff I mentioned and you'll be golden!
Overall here are some problems I have with this thread:
- You make the reference that the SO6P broke the genjutsu by waving his hands, I would ask if there are any other places in the manga where we see something similar to this or is this just an interpretation of yours which has no real credibility?
- Why would the SO6P pass down the Rineegan and the Tablet, the two things that could DIRECTLY help undo what he has done, to the next generation? Did he decide that undoing the genjutsu was a bad idea? If that was the case why not just unseal the Juubi himself and have it remake the genjutsu?
- The entire thing is based on conjecture, as to say nothing in the thread has any real proof or evidence to show that it is credible. Now in normals cases you have 3 kinds of threads. The first kind is that which makes an assertion like Itachi knows Izangi, but normally something a little less known, and then it uses scans to back it up. The Second kind of theory thread makes a statement that cannot be DIRECTLY seen in the manga but by using scans and common sense you have reason to believe that it is true, like when someone says that there is not more than 1
You must be registered for see linksin existence. Then we have the Third kind of thread which has no evidence or anything to add to it and is more food for thought than it is something to actually be taken serious. I think yours falls into the latter, which isnt bad, I just personally dont like to engage in conjecture.
All in all I think it is an interesting thread, but I find it highly unlikely that the world prior to the SO6P was trapped in an infinite genjutsu for a few reasons:
- How did he know that he was in an infinite genjutsu? Much like C.S Lewis once said "I would never know what a crooked line was if I never saw a straight one." And with that how would he even recognize that he was in a genjutsu/crooked world if he has never seen the real one.
- How would this genjutsu work, normally when a genjutsu works you cannot move your real body, rather you are trapped in your mind. And thus since people in the real world aren't eating or sleeping but are rather trapped in this alternate reality, how exactly did the people survive outside of the genjutsu and have kids? Now if were saying this is some kind of living genjutsu in which people can move around freely but just act different, which kind of doesn't exist but lets say it does, then how does he break everone out of this genjutsu? Genjutsu can only be broken by coming into direct contact with people and disturbing there chakra flow. Did he just walk around the ENTIRE world undoing the genjutsu on everyone in existence?
- He undo's the genjutsu, sees that the world begins to fall apart and then instead of redoing the genjutsu he passes down the rinneegan and tablet to the next generation hoping that they will figure out how to do it? Why go through all that trouble when he could just do it himself.
I hope I wasnt too hard on you, nice work with the scans though, its nice to see people using them![]()

Have you ever had a dream Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake up from that dream? How do you know the difference between real world and dream world? And what is 'reality'? How you define 'real'? If you are talking about what you can feel, what you can smell, taste, touch and see then 'reality' is simply electrical signal interpreted by our brain.-MORPHEUS
You know something, what you know you can't explain. But you feel it. you felt it your entire life. Somethings wrong with this world. you don't know what, but its there. Like a splinter in your mind driving you mad.- MORPHEUS
Didn't the SOSP come before the juubi
