Madara vs Itachi. Vote now!!!

I voted for Madara.
As you said Madara was scared of Itachi even when Itachi was sick. But Itachi also said Madara was just a shell of his former self. So I think its safe to assume that if were getting rid of Itachi's sickness and boosting him to full strength, we should also return Madara to his former self and boost him to full strength. Both are very powerful, and it would be an incredible fight, but I think Madara has just had too much time to work on his techniques, and also he seems to be a little bit smarter than Itachi, and thats saying a lot because Itachi was incredible smart.
Full Strength Madara vs. Full Strength Itachi = Madara winner.

Another misconception. Itachi never meant that he is weaker than before(though maybe he is) but that he lost his pride after being defeated physically by Shodai and mentally be his fellow clansmen.

Well I guess its speculation either way isn't it? There are a lot of theories around as to what Madara is up to. A lot of people think he lost his EMS and is trying to get it back. If thats true then when comparing Itachi to Madara I think you have to consider it when Madara has the EMS.
Its very possible that Itachi was talking about Madara being a shell from an emotional/mental state too though.
You seem like you're a serious believer that Itachi is stronger than Madara, and you'll just try to prove anyone who thinks otherwise wrong, so what was the point of creating the thread?

Yes but someone with a rock is going to need more skill to be on par with someone using a machine gun. (A little extreme example, but you get the point).
Either way though, I think Madara is going to be the better user. Its sort of hard to discuss it though since we haven't seen what Madara is truly capable. Until then, its just pure speculation.

Also I do not know why Madara feared Itachi? Did Madara say that?? I guess he did not.
And what do you mean by his plan? The target of Akatsuki was 9 tailed beasts. By the time Itachi died, they captured almost 7 and they had 2 of the beasts left.
Also as we have seen, Madara is able to survive amaterasu without any problems. Tsukyomi is just a joke, even Sasuke was able to withstand it without any serious mental injuries and traumas.
Which leaves Susano'o. Susanoo exhausts Itachi and ****s up his eyesight.
But remember Madara can use a space-time jutsu which is even greater than the one used by 4th. He can just remvoe the part of his body that is cut by sowrd of totsuka, that's all.
And I guess Susanoo isnt permament. It will definitely exhaust Itachi, don't you think?
We also have no diea what is Madara capable of besides having that space time jutsu.
There has to be someting really dangerous and powerful about him. He is the man who challenged the 1st Hokage who was considered as most poweful ninja in the world.
And after so many years he could come up with really dangerous and overpowered jutsus and techniques.

i would go for itachi but madara stated himself that itachi only made it to the ''fail'' part and madara managed to keep few secrets EVEN FROM ITACHI..
by saying that he already tells us that itachi is near his level..
