Sakura jounin rank ninja.

I believe Sakura to be a jounin rank MEDICAL ninja. I've read all over these forums how useless you guys find her. Of how undeveloped you feel Kishimoto made her. Well, I disagree an here are some reasons why.


* Direct pupil to one of the three legendary sannin, not to mention the current hokage. Take a look at the pupils of the other 2 sannin. Orochimaru made Sasuke who he is today. Jiraya trained naruto. Anyone trained under the sannin are just on a different levels.

* She defeated Sasori a S-class criminal and member of Akasuki with just the help of a 80year old woman. Without her antidote to Sasori's poison, the battle could not have been won, noone had survived his poison or been able to create a antidote for it. So that is a feat on its own.

* As a MEDICAL nin her job is not necessary to be overpowered and chalked full with legit one shot jutsu's. She decided that she wanted to help team 7 in a different way. She has saved countless lives and healed even more during this war arc I believe Sakura to be the second best medical nin in the narutoverse.

* She has developed in a different way then the rest of konoha11, she didn't set out to get stronger and be able to take on anyone in battle. She set out to be able to make sure her friends didn't die in a different way.

* It doesn't take strength and jutsu's to be a skilled ninja, she took out Kiba, Rock Lee, an Sai at the same time with just a sleep powder bomb.

* Has always displayed great chakra control, even more so than Sasuke. She was the first to be able to completely focus chakra into her feet and climb to the top of the tree. A day or more sooner than Sasuke who came from a genius prodigy clan.



In conclusion I think if people stop looking at her as a fighting nin and focusing on her jutsu list, rather than her skill set and how she is supposed to be. Then there would not be so many people who believe she is completely useless. When she is actually a very handy ninja to have around an a important/valuable member of any group.


If you post one word replies, memes, or just spam saying sakura is useless or undeveloped without stating why, I will report you.

agreed. shes unique in her own way, dont forget her figuring out the zetzu stuff too and breaking the genjutsu when she was younger and breaking itachis genjutsu on naruto and her acts of compassion towards him and others....im a sakura fan lol but really she does deserve jonin rank for sure. her stats are great in the latest databook!

Sakure is a useless character, she would had die in the sasori fight if it wasn't for chiyo being there. Physically she is strong but it is useless if she can't hit the person in battle.

As a medical skill set her she is not terrible she is atnjounin rank at least. Sure she is terrible in combat but not at healing. Her relationship with sasuke has nothing to do with her ninja rank an does not make her useless. Do not use that as your counter argument again please.

I agree, but I wouldn't give her credit for defeating Sasori. He chose to die, so that doesn't really count, though being able to create an antidote is worth something as a medical ninja...

Just because he choose to get butthurt at losing his master and search for power to get revenge and own the world does not mean anything and is a completely different case.

Sakura choose to keep training as a medical non so she could save her friends when the time came. You can leave my thread if these are the basic counter arguments you have.

well healers are always good, i learned this from any game ive played. as far as she being "Medical" jonin rank worthy.. i dont think such a rank exist, arent jonins sort of captains? meant to lead teams or take on tougher missions.. shes lacking alot in that department but as far as gifted medical medical ninja sure.. shes tsunades pupil so its likely shes above the rest

Sakura was taught differently than Kabuto.

1.No medic ninja shall ever stop medical treatment until the lives of their party members have come to an end
2.No medic ninja shall ever stand on the front lines
3.No medic ninja shall ever die until they are the last of their platoon

She is trained for nothing but to take care of team mates. She is not to engage in battle. Unlike kabuto who was to throw his life away if it meant saving Orochimaru or the mission at hand.

Just like Naruto is still Genin? Skill sets make the ninja, an as far as her medical skills go I still believe she is up there at Jounin level. Without Sakura's healing skills Kankuro would be dead, Naruto, Kakashi, and Chiyo would have lost to Sasori and Deidara. Sasori would a dealt away with Chiyo and caught up to Naruto and Kakashi.

Not sure if you been reading the war arc, but the medical ninja have their own division. I'm sure its got a ranking system to it, that sakura must be pretty high on.

She is an extrememly good medical ninja, there's no denying that.

I believe she would be a better medical ninja if she incorporated that into her combat style, similar to Kabuto, instead of just increasing her strength.

I know about Tsunade's rules about not going into direct combat, being the last to die, etc etc, but eventually, Sakura will be targeted, and she needs more ways to defend herself. Being able to weaken the opponent and strengthen the team, or even when she's by herself, would prove her invaluable in battle.

Jonin are supposed to elite command and control units who also happen to be pretty strong in battle prowess..... while Sakura has great medical talents, her taijutsu is only fit for support not direct confrontation (Evidence: When Naruto and Sai was fighting Omoi and Karui, Sakura had the surpirse attack on her side and she of all people was kicked kilometer away, which also shows that her evasive power are actually not that top notch) and also Sakura's emotional handicaps tends to act against her. This is the same reson why Shikamaru (who lacks proper battle powers but has top tier command and control abilities) and Lee (who has nearly caught up on Gai in case of physical powers, yet lacks versatility and command and control capabilities) are not jonins.
