Why Naruto is Different than Other Shinobis

lets compare :

1. Naruto & Hashirama :

Hashirama seems to have some similarities with naruto.
But Hashirama can kill his friend for the sake of the village & his dream.
while Naruto was willing to sacrifice his own dream, & was even ready ti die for his friend(who was trying to destroy his village)

2. Naruto & Minato :

Minato was calm unlike Naruto. but if someone hurts his friends Minato could kill those people without any mercy as stated by jiraiya.
for ex : When the fodder ninja attacked kakashi with sword, minato killed him.
while Naruto can never kill anyone just cause they killed his friends.

3. Naruto & Itachi :

Itachi could kill anyone to protect the village, even child & ladies, his own family.
while Naruto believes in world peace not only for village. which is indeed a better way if u remember Nagatos words ( how is it fair to let only u people from hidden leaf enjoy the peace)

4. Naruto & Nagato :

both wanted to achieve world peace but the way of doing things was different.
Nagato was unable to handle the hate unlike naruto, who rise above hate.

5. Naruto & Jiraiya :

jiraiya is pervy and mostly interested in girls While Naruto is the guy who just wants to be best & for that he can do anything.
also jiraiya thought he could not save his friend O'maru & he gave up on saving him while Naruto still haven't gave up on his friend sasuke.

What? Naruto is the perfect main character because... he isn't perfect! I hate perfect hero's!

Naruto is just awesome, he saved this manga many times when it became less interesting.

you know i love the series and all but i never really liked naruto's ideas (lead character). i mean it's only working because this is a fantasy (i will not give up on my friends). don't get me wrong, it sounds attractive and all .... but it starts getting annoying after a while. if a friend went crazy, tried to kill me and my people (who also took care of him) more than once, insisted on being stupid, went super crazy and became an international criminal (killing leaders just like is not the answer even if they are bad) then this friend is dead (no longer a friend). hashirama did the right thing when he took madara down, enough is enough ..... letting a crazy friend free killing and messing things up is .... kind of selfish (just because he is YOUR friend)

That's exactly why I like Naruto, his ideals may seem naïve but I would take his ideals over Obito's or Nagato's ideals.

Plus he never gives up.

Naruto had just come back to the village and saw it wrecked and knew his sensei was dead. But only after that did Naruto go batshit crazy. He simply cannot handle things like that. Sasuke calling him his best friend was probably (and this is quite sad) the first genuine connection he had with anybody his own age.

And keep in mind he no longer relies on those crutches as a means to further himself. He is quite content with the idea that Sasuke may die and that he may have to be the one to kill him, even if it costs him his own life (kage summit).

naruto realized that he may have to kill sasuke after ALL what happened (way too late) and yet he didn't try to do it (it happened right after the kage summit/danzo's death witch is too late). he is a naive kid that's why i kind of understood his reaction looking at his background (the one you mentioned). but it still is kind of annoying ...... what more did he need to see that sasuke is gone (am talking before seeing what sasuke recently did) ?? sasuke killing him ?? killing more ??

am pretty sure you understand what am trying to say. sasuke attacked naruto and the others, made it clear that he will kill them if they stand in his way (the point is he lost it), joined oro (naruto still wanted to save him after realizing that it was sasuke's wish) and became an international criminal. so my point is, clinging to his friend after all of this (not acting for the greater good/sake of others) simply because he is HIS friend is ..... annoying but again it makes sense looking at their backgrounds (doesn't mean that it was the right thing).
