What people dont realize about Itachi and Nagato

Itachi did not solo Nagato and Nagato didnt actually solo Naruto and Bee the way some people think.

Naruto, Bee and Itachi thought Nagato was finished and were caught off guard by his sudden assualt. All 3 were blown away by Shinra Tensei and Bee(who had no prior knowledge of Nagato's abilties) got his chakra absorbed. Naruto who was still confused got captured by Nagato. While all that was happening, Itachi took the oppurtunity to sever to rinnegan vision link and save Naruto and Bee. Each side has pros and cons:

Naruto, Bee and Itachi
-The trio were caught offguard by Nagato's sudden ambush
-Bee had no knowledge of Nagato's abilites
-Naruto was only captured so easily because he was confused
-Destroyed Chibaku Tensei which created the misconception of there needing to be multiple attacks coming at CB at once to destroy it. Naruto, Bee and Itachi alone can destroy CB.
-Nagato was an edo and could regenerate the arm Itachi severed and was able to use CB.

Nagato
-He was controlled by Kabuto
-Nagato is a bit of a tactician but since Kabuto was controlling him, Nagato was an offensive powerhouse.
-Kabuto was only focused on catching Naruto and Bee, ignoring Nagato's physical flaws and Itachi.
-Itachi used Naruto and Bee as a distraction as he severed the rinnegan vision link

The fact that Naruto and Bee were there is proof alone that Itachi didn't solo him. 1v1 Nagato would win against Itachi, a non crippled Nagato would definitely win. Itachi is great and very powerful, but Nagato is on a whole other level.

Simple actually. In such a situation you will take no risks and try and do it yourself, especially when you have teammates around you.

They dont. All Bee has is Ink clone and Nagato wont get caught by that. Naruto doesnt have jack s***

Rasenshuriken, TBB and Yasaka Nagatama would get drawn to CB by its gravity pull. Each attack individually is powerful and would cause a large explosion.

At that stage of evolution, it would take more than just one attack from one shinobi to destroy Chibaku Tensei. It has to pierce through all the compacted rock and reach and hit the singularity hard enough to blow it up. The only way was to concentrate all three attacks at the same given point to break free.

Nothing stops the radical fanboys, just like nothing stops the children from whining for the Cheetos at the supermarket. Unfortunately...

People have it ingrained into their heads that every single fight either has to be fair, or every fight is fair.

They cannot comprehend that the outcome of every battle can change based on the circumstance.

Take a tennis match for example. If you put two competitors in a few best two out of three matches, and they are in the same skill range, although one is slightly better or better than the other, that does not guarantee a win for the slightly better person every time. As the gap between the skill levels increase, the chances the one with the lower skill will win the match decreases. It all depends on the circumstances they put themselves in.

In this circumstance, they all made decisions leading as to how it happened. It's not like two cavemen trying to smack each other with their wooden clubs, there are many factors and variables to take into account.

good points but what you said about itachi,naruto and bee alone destroying CT sphere also isnt proven.i dont think they could destroy that sphere if alone.they had to unite their greatest attacks in order to destroy it.i bet naruto`s bijuudama can destroy it but i dont think that bee and itachi can destroy it on their own

If what you say is true, then kakashi wouldn't have let naruto solo kakuzu, same with shika and hidan, Tsunade wouldn't have let Naruto fight pain solo, Pain would have called all 6 paths from the beginning vs jiraiya... the list goes on.

In the face of overwhelming power you will NOT take your chances. You will rather use what abilities you have around you to give you the greatest chance of overcoming this trouble. Again why take such a risk and try to overcome it by yourself, when you could increase your chances of overcoming it by adding others to the scenario

It's not only what Blaze said, it's also what Itachi afterwards taught Naruto; not to do anything by himself but to see the friends who surround and don't let you handle it alone. Acting selfish, whether he could've do it alone or not, would contradict the philosophy he wanted to teach Naruto. Incidentally, Naruto's analytical and thinking skills were animated by Itachi, latter explaining how a certain technique work and how to find its weak point, while Naruto only believed in being crushed.
