in ultimate marvel, magneto could not beleive the truth about where mutations come from, in the ultimate universe every mutant was because of the sss serum and experiments, magneto was in disbelief when he found out he wasnt a god from nick fury.

I think his God complex would have been thrown out of wack. I thought he was chosen by fate to obtain the legendary eyes of the Sage and sought to bring peace (by any means necessary) like the Sage once did. He'd be pretty disappointed that they were just implanted from a time where he was so young, he couldn't even remember the procedure.

Why do you feel the need to alienate nagato in this matter??? Even if he knew, nothing would have changed. Naruto was handed the kyuubi and nothing changed once he found out his own parents decided that fate. Sasuke was handed itachi's eyes yet he still proclaims that his "Own" power. Don't even get me started with madara and how much he took from others and proclaims it as his own(Senju Cells,His brothers eyes,Kyuubi,etc). Sure Nagato was handed those eyes but not anyone could have taken them and nagato was special in this case due to his blood.

Naruto (Nine-Tails being sealed inside him), Madara(Implanting izuna's eyes & Taking hashi's cells), Orochimaru(Taking dna & Stuff from a lot of people), Sasuke(Implanting itachi's eyes),Kakashi(Obito's eye). All theses things were not their own, as is nagato's rinnegan...
