Bored? You should REALLY watch this anime!

Just a recommendation for those of you bored enough to be on the lookout for something new and exciting =] If you haven't heard of/read and/or watched Rurouni Kenshin and its OVAs, you have to know that you are really missing out! I will let this lovely AMV speak for me~



In case that didn't hook you up enough (and it really should have, shame on you!), I will also say that the very first good live action ever created, a live action that does not give you eye cancer and is ACTUALLY awesome in its own right, came out last year over Rurouni Kenshin precisely and it's worth the watch too! Here is the respective trailer as well...



I do hope you enjoy it, because it is a beautiful series! I loved it so much that I figured, hey, I should share it with the world, more people need to know this, it deserves all the love it can get ^^

The anime itself is for children, the contents are not offensive in any way I believe... However, it is incomplete - it caught up with the manga and didn't resume. It also contains fillers. So I would recommend reading the manga and then watching Rurouni Kenshin OVA1 - Tsuiokuhen, followed by Rurouni Kenshin OVA2 - Seisouhen and then the live action.

The OVAs are definitely NOT for children, so if it was the OVAs that they showed then it's best that you didn't watch them when you were little xD They contain a lot of bloody scenes as you can see from the AMV, the creators didn't spare expenses in the realistic-death department, that could traumatize a kid xD In any case, they are absolutely gorgeous and emotionally-wrecking and one of my favourite anime movies of all time!
