I think it was because Kishi didn't realize just how OP it was reviving everyone, all he was thinking of was how epic it would be. Once they got on the battlefield he was like....crap.....now how the hell do i kill them off???

The title threw me off, it implys that the 3 in your list Trolled hard. But c'mon man, its plot no jutsu. The 2 "fodder" ninja that defeated Kakuzu, it made sense since they fought him before. Gin and Kin were beaten by Darui who would have lost if it wasn't for the Sages Weapons. Yea Sasori went out fast but he still has my respect.
