Hey everyone, It's Moe again =D Today I was thinking about how much the Inoichi Clan, Nara Clan, and Akimichi Clan have contributed to the war. In fact I think those three clans played such a large role that the war would've been lost without them. I'll give you guys a few examples starting with the most recognizable Ino-Shika-Cho formation.
This three have helped seal Kinkaku (or Ginkaku I don't know which is which), Kakuzu and their own sensei, twelve shinobi guardian, Asuma Sarutobi. But lets go into what they contributed individually:
Shikamaru was praised for being a genius by Obito Uchiha the mastermind behind this war. Later, as the Zetsu infiltrated their ranks, Shikamaru came up with the strategy to draw circles around themselves, and anyone who leaves is are automatically traitors, thus deeming the Zetsu worthless. He also acted as captain of fourth battalion in Gaara's absense.
He also helped subdue the Juubi for a little, and was held responsible for executing his dad's last plan.
Choji was perhaps one of the most useful people in the three clans. He was the key to beating Asuma and helped beat all the remaining Edos on the battlefield. He also beat this thing, which we know is capable of devastating damage:
Ino also did very much to help win the battle of the beach, but her most notable feat was when she saved Naruto, Kakashi, Guy, and Bee's lives by tipping the Juubi's tailed beast bomb by taking control of Obito, causing it to miss.
Shikaku was the dark horse of this war in my opinion. Without his strategic planning, many things could have gone wrong and cost them the war. He was responsible for the positioning of the war and and all of the battalions. He faced death with a smile and until his final moments, conjured up a plan to stop the Juubi in its tracks.
Without Inoichi, Naruto and co would've been dead without him contacting everyone to tell them to head over to Naruto's location. He also connected Shikaku to everyone, giving them a plan to temporarily subdue the Juubi. With his technique he also contacted Darui, Dodai, Naruto, Bee and Genma & Raido. This technique was one of the most important and crucial to the war.
Choza can also be accredited for giving the alliance the edge on the beach by containing Dan Kato, presumably a dangerous shinobi if not bound correctly. He also helped Choji fight the Demonic Statue.
In addition to these six members, people like Ensui and Santa helped execute Kakashi's plan to defeat Zabuza, and two Akimichi helped guard Shizune while she revealed that the Zetsu have infiltrated them.
In Conclusion: The Ino-shika-cho clans are valuable assets to the alliance and much could've gone wrong without them. This is why I believe that without the three clans, everyone would already be bound in the infinite tsukuyomi. Thanks for reading and sorry if it was a bit long
