Don't get me wrong. Part 2 Naruto manga (= Shippuuden) is still very interesting and enjoyable to follow. Some epic shit happened too, so I am not complaining.

But let's be honest, part 1 Naruto manga was better. Without any doubt. Part 1 is BY FAR the best Shounen manga I've ever read and I am quite experienced.

Part 1 it was all about ninja's still, about Naruto and his friends. It was also awesome too see characters like Neji, Lee, Kiba, Shino, ... had more panel time in part 1 then now. Man, Naruto/Sasuke/Sakura were also an epic team back then.

But part 2 is more focusing on BIG SHIT, you know what I mean. It focused too much on the Uchiha's. I am not hating on them now, but I think we all can agree that part 2 is different then part 1 on that part. Too much Uchiha-importance in the manga dropped the quality of it a little. Also sad too see some cool part 1 characters like Neji or Lee are forgotten most of the time. Neji for example just came... to die, Lol.

The future can be epic, if Kishi handles it well!! (wich he didn't do with Sasuke's latest change... Too soon, but maybe Kishi is on something...)

Shippuden in start was very brilliant and I might say more good than part 1 but after some chapters... It fell like a stone off a cliff...

So much things were learnt in part 2 because of the in-depth history of the past and Kishi surprised us with a lot of things that existed in the NV. Foresight, hmmmmm.

Part 1 is awesome, it's funny, we could see more of the characters kicking back in Konoha from fighting and doing mission which looks laid back.

For one, which should be obvious, the plot of Shippuden is much better than the plot of Part 1's. It's more complex and mature.

I also like the fighting of Shippuden before we got introduced to giant forms like Perfect Susano'o or Hashi's Bhudda more than Part 1 because it was more diverse and creative, minus a few things. The only edge Part 1 would have is it had more hand-to-hand combat. That whole "they stopped being ninjas" crap, well I couldn't care less.

Also, Kishi didn't "forget" about the other characters. Their time was just up. Part 1's purpose was for them. Part 2 wasn't. The purpose of Part 2 is to go into the history of Uchiha and Senju and how it affects the world today. That's why we hear so much of the Uchiha, they are a significant part to Shippuden's purpose. Fans either have yet to realize or deal with it.

They made the false assumption that the parts of the stories would have the same purpose, which is foolish. If they did, what would be the purpose of two parts?

wake up... the manga... the anime... is called NARUTO... not neji, kiba, hinata, or the others... on part 1 we see the present life of Naruto... now we are seeing his past... and all ninja history came from madara and hashirama... or lets just say, So6P... so whats next... his future... is he going to battle sasuke...? is everyone gonna survive the war...?

like Role Playing Games... your gonna get party first so they can help on your adventure... but still, from the middle to the end of the story... its all focus to you...

The only thing I would add is that in Part 2 way cooler characters were introduced which is an obvious plus.

It's actally true, what u said. It's all about the "Uchihas" and starts to be a little bit boring now... With all these stuffs. I think all this manga fan, wants to more about, The Namikaze and The Uzumaki clan and other... It really feels like the Uchihas is the best, and still though Hyuga Clan thinks they're best lolz. I actaully want to see a another diffrent character which is very good and is a Namikaze,,, lol my opinion

I also prefer part 1 too.
Naruto was still on the focus as the main character; the other ones were not interfering to his development despite having screentime; in fact there were many moments where they were adding up to his development and what manga represents.
About the opness;it is normal to characters to get strong; but they could get stronger in a more ninja-ish ways; for example Naruto is the main character; but he have power-blasts most of the time; he has an elemental affinity known for almost 300 chapters; yet he only has 1 jutsu with it; i would prefer to see a fuuton master rather than a light bulb; weren't ninjas suppose to be sneaky; he is glowing and it is not a problem because he is too damn op.
Eyeballs are getting more screntime than humans; and they are keep getting switched like pokemon cards. I do not even want to get into opness of ms-ems; we have talked a lot on them.
Part 1 was really divine and had many diversities which were interesting; i find many jutsus, abilities and clans really more interesting than a susanoo.
About the screentime of side characters; the focal point is of course should be on main characters; then where is Sakura? Plot is more than "who is the final villain-so6p-save the world-naruto vs sasuke"; it is also all those side things adding up to what manga is trying to tell and all the other themes. Shikamaru, Iruka, Lee, Neji, Sakura and all the others represents different things that the main characters of course can not since every character is different; there are many themes in the manga that must be carried; and it would be happen hardly with only few characters.
