Tsunade and jiraiya

I think Tsunade was a bit foolish allowing Jiraiya going to the hidden rain village on his own. She knew the risk as well as he, so why not send reinforcements. I know that Jiraiya wanted to go on his own but seriously. I know he didn't want to risk anything but for gods sake when you know the risk of death is that great then do something about it. I'm not character bashing or placing all the blame on one or the other but I felt like both especially Tsunade could have done more.

The Akatsuki was searching after Naruto. Tsunade couldn't allow to send out her strongest jounins. And the weaker jounins aren't much help against the Akatsuki.

But if jiraiya didn't die then thestory would have changed. We wouldn't have seen an epic fight(naruto vs pain). And not everyone can stay alive, I mean atleast someone must die to make the story interesting.

However, Jiraya Said That She is Too Important for the Village, The Village needed her. He Told Her that She Should Be The One That's Supposed to Understand why he had to go, Because she is a Sannin.

She wanted to go with him he insisted he do it alone, she would have been a big help too if you ask me i think the 2 of them woulda have better gotten the job done.

Also as the others said she couldn't send her best men away behind jiraya when she knew there was a possibility of pain showing up sometime. I think she made a good decision.
