Here the manga says Hashirama entrusted the village also into the hands of these 2 elders (besides Tobirama), who were even more against the Uchiha's then Tobirama or Danzo. But how old are they then?

Can someone explain me this or is this just something Kishimoto forgot about?

... Hiruzen and the 2 elders had tobirama for teacher. It's not that far since Hashirama lived.

And by "entrusting the village to the next generation" nothing specific is meant. It's just what every generation has to do at some point. And it's the whole idea with the will of fire as well.

Those elder is the same age with hiruzen. Reread when tobirama chose hiruzen as hokage..

All I could think of is how rude tsunade was in these panels, not that i like them or anything but they are the elders, you could convince them without knocking them down.. I hate tsundere characters -___-

Anyway, I believe the are at the same age as the third so it wasn't directed to them..the new generation thing

those dudes are old plus it was figurative speech...it's called literary elements .....also ....this chapter was how long ago??when we knew nothing about hashi and tobi and how the village was formed.
