I can't find anything that suggests that this happens. If you can post a link to where you read that, I'd be interested to see it. After extensive searching, I found one research article that showed that you can use a female condom as a cheap, sterile temporary barrier on infants with an exposed umbilical hernia.

The Jets did Tebow no favors in how he was treated. However, it's Tebow who is doing the most damage to his NFL career by refusing to see the writing on the wall. I learned today that the US has the third-highest population in the world. While feeling a little behind, i was shocked to learn this considering i knew the US has a little over 300 million civilians, while countries like India and China have over a billion. Why is there such a large discrepancy between India and China population-wise, versus pretty much the rest of the world?

The issue is multifaceted, and it's difficult to give a discrete, succinct answer. Perhaps the biggest factor is geography. Given that China and India are incredibly large countries with good soil and climate, which enable them to sustain large populations. Additionally, those areas have been populated by groups practicing large scale agriculture for longer than other areas. Consider that the US has so grown so much in a little over 200 years, where China has been populated for thousands.
