-Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
-Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

I remember hearing all of this when I was in third grade, that was like 12 years ago.

Nowadays, history buffs on the internet like to ruin my childhood memories of learning about the United States presidents. Sorry, its not necessarily a "hoax" but a lot of those coincidences are superficial, exaggerated, or outright made up.
