Why do people dislike obito so much?

I was just thinking that. Most people will say the reason is because that his only motive is the fact that Rin died but like Tobirama said the uchiha love so much that if they lose the one they love they fall into darkness. Also, a side note why doesnt Obito just bring Rin back to life with the rinnegan? I mean does he want to have a fake rin in the dream world?

Well that and the fact that he witnessed his best friend whom he told to protect her impale her with Raikiri. That probably had a little something to do with it also

Part of it is them not being able to understand his motives, the other part is a bandwagon effect where everyone hates on him. Let's face it; Obito is the Justin Bieber of the NarutoVerse.

Because he hates the world and would think she'd only suffer more if she were brought back into it.

Obito is one of my favourite characters.

Sure his flashback and reveal were a little lame but he is literally the foundation of the show. He caused the beginning of Naruto.

1. Obito has gone through a forced character rewrite after the mask broke off. He's more rushed, and a bit whiny.
2. People are used to characters who went through a number of hardships before they break down... Obito's previous ideals were dropped after one single moment of crisis, which makes his motive and actions hard to accept
3. Some people are so disappointed, that anything this character does immediately sucks
4. Liking Obito was a bit taboo after the flashbacks.

They didn't like Tobi's Identity (Lame Reason by the way) or the reason he became a villain, Ohh yeah I've seen people who hate him because he was responsible for Minato's death as well.
