I doubt there was anything else that could have been done in that situation, unless you are Kishimoto himself. If Nagato has a mobility issue, then it seems only logical that the Rinnegan summons be used to mitigate that issue.


Nagato had a chameleon and the Jigokudo. It was 3 vs 3 until Itachi took out the Rinnegan summons.

Going by that logic, with Sussano, it was a 4 v 3
Stop being illogical that's like saying all of Kakuzu's fight was 4 v 4
What does have to do with Nagto having control? mobility issue or not bottom line is Kabuto was controlling him, they have two diff minds therefore leading to two diff actions

Yeah slugs have healing abilities but how does stop them from being utterly destroyed from the large scale shinra tensei? They were the small ones too unless you think they're durability is way.better than Susanoo don't come to me.

2. Because he was focused on who? Bee and Naruto. The what(s) jin needed, to do what? Power the Gedo, again he was focusing on Bee and Naruto as that was his whole plan to begin with. Which is why this is a poor example of how Itachi > Nagato that all you uchiha fanboys keep speculating

edo nagato without legs > edo itachi
both should be in their senses.
if so6p was there in control of kabuto rather than nagato,itachi could also seal him due to kabuto lack of usage on his puppets.
important thing is that if you ask kishimoto, or any. other anime producer etc.they will say nagato > itachi.

1. Amaterasu or Totsuka nuff said.
2. He destroys or heavily damages it in its early stages or he finishes the fight before it happens.
3. Tanks it with Susanoo since small slugs tanked it.
4. He uses Genjutsu to Fool Nagato into believing he has Itachi just like Itachi did when Bee used his tentacles to grab Itachi then while Nagato is busy dispelling the Genjutsu he gets his throat slashed.

Keeping in mind that Itachi is not very gifted with his stamina, and seeing as the majority of what you posted is just him avoiding death, i still dont really see how he lands anything on Nagato. I didnt even bring out the Gedo Mazou. Izanami? While hes rushing over to have his soul sucked out by Asura path? Nah, not seeing it
