[Debate] Is Obama doing a bad job?

Has he done anything to help us? He might've increased the number of jobs and deported a lot of troops from Iraq but.. He hasn't made peace with a lot of countries and EU has yet a larger GDP than us, we used to have the most GDP. Our public education also sucks... Why aren't we putting a lot of money into that?

I like the way most of the blame is put on Obama when it takes more then the president to run the country. People need to stop trying to blame only Obama, even though i'm not a fan of him i do find it really ignorant to see people saying " I'm not racism but do you see why y'all haven't had a president yet" and " He should die". Like wtf did he ever do to you, this country has been going down hill ever since JFK died and it's been white guy after white guy screwing this country over hard and back when Obama first got in office, it honestly wasn't even a month before people started talking shit.
Then again this is America, home of KKK, Black panthers, Crips, Bloods, Neo-Nazis, etc etc. People just need to realize that this is America a big ass Melting pot and get over your racial differences and lets take back our government.

He himself is doing an okay job. People seem to forget about Congress when they ask "is the president doing a good job" in reference to how the country is doing. The president is only one part of a bigger thing, and since Congress has a lot of power (arguably more) and right now is doing a pretty terrible job, it may seem like it's Obama's fault. In reality there is not as much for him to do as some think.

you certainly dont sound neutral....and haveing a black president has nothing to do with race....there have been quite a few black canidates on the past, but simply none of them had as much support as obama...his specialty is giveing good speeches...people like you need to realize that this sort of thing has nothing to do with race really, just more of background....

its like saying everybody is sexist because there hasnt been a female president.....its just not many females have run for president, and not many have the resources to become president. And then in general, males are more ambitious than females.


but anyways, you need to chill and realize that pres obama has recieved a lot less heat than pres bush, and that just like pres bush, alot of things are pinned on obama when it is congress' responsibility.


Though i disagree with many of obamas policies, i will acknowledge that he has done a decent job at being president.

But i also think that he has had an unfair media bias to his advantage.


So in case you just dont read at all let me state a simple summary

there not being a black pres till now has NOTHING to do with race.

Bush and Obama both have had many things unfairly blamed on them, that was actually congress' fault.

And Obama is decent and Bush was bad esp. his second term(his first was alright)

Both presidents have dramatically screwed our kids/grandkids, by racking up the national debt(I realize that they are not fully responsible for this, but the pres does have a lot of say, in the budgeting process, and pres obama has been pushing for policies that rack up debt, with little plans to repay it) (as im not well knowledged in bush facts, i assume he did similar things)


This is all, and dont bother replying to this, as i do not plan to argue at all. This is my opinion. Though it does have some facts in it, if we disagree, then we can agree to disagree.

Agreed. Obama's hands are basically tied until their is a more 50/50 Dem./Republican Congress. With 60% of congress Bn republicans that dont even listen to the people who put them in office and seem to B only considering they own bottom line, how could a Dem. president who is told to B hated by the Tea Party do anything poductive? To put it simple America is getting screwed by the politics not the president.

Honestly I will have to go with what my history teacher always says.

"You don't know how good or bad a president really is/was until around 5-10 years and so on have passed."

As far as policy goes I believe this is so true because who knows what the effect of Obama Care is, and that is just one example. President Obama definitely is not one of those top five presidents of the 20th century like TR, FDR, Reagan, Carter (Lol joking). For now he is doing alright and maybe the next president if it is not Hilary Clinton will undo his policies.

That is just my take on it though and of course my teacher's take.
