Well personally I'm just about to watch episode 4 xD but looks like its another flashback episode? (in terms of the manga order) regardless, I love the animation, possibly even more than the manga character designs.

It doesn't have any flashback at all, except for like 20 seconds with his mom. The ending is just like bam!!!

When I was watching it I was thinking - nice episode but I wish something exciting would happen. Then in the last minute sh!t just exploded with epicness and I was like " Goddam it now I have to wait a whole week".

Is the manga still ongoing? Or has it finished, i'm very tempted to read it.

When I was watching it I was thinking - nice episode but I wish something exciting would happen. Then in the last minute sh!t just exploded with epicness and I was like " Goddam it now I have to wait a whole week".

Is the manga still ongoing? Or has it finished, i'm very tempted to read it.

It's still going. If you think this is exciting, you haven't seen anything yet. I think it's either 45 or 46 chapters in, but don't let the number of chapters keep you from reading it, one chapter legitimately had over 200 pages.

It's ongoing. I'm pretty sure it's a monthly release too. At this rate the anime will probably have to undergo some fillers but oh well it'll probably work out fine.

You think so? I really think they might end it right before the new arc begins in the manga so they can later continue it as a season 2.

Yea, especially since Eren fought the giant titan in the beginning while everyone watched. Even in the cover of the smoke, i find it weird how nobody noticed him. Also, i apologize for not knowing the names xD
