Not really a versus thread, just wanted to point out a small but interesting fact that i just realized.
Kakashi has fought and/or briefly tangled with nearly all members of Akatsuki at one time or another.
Here we see him confront Itachi and Kisame.

Here he attacks a retreating Deidara.

In this battle he combats both Kakuza and Hidan.

Let's not forget his fight to the death with Pain.

And of course he has history of fighting Obito as well as a few confrontations with Tobi( before he discovered it was Obito). Leading up to their epic fight in current chapters.
Since Kakashi is still one of my favorite characters, I can appreciate him being the only one to have ever faced more than 2/3 of the "S-ranked" criminals that comprise the Akatsuki. organization. In my opinion, the Akatsuki reign was when Naruto was at it's best. A beautiful mixture of taijutsu, nijustu, genjustu, strategy and story line. And the fact that Kakashi played such a big part in it, is testiment to his merit. Not the most OP by far, but a splendid shinobi indeed.

Indeed those were nice fights.I don't like all this OP techniques and the everlasting battles.I preferred the time were hand seals, taijutsu and strategy was part of a fight.
Kakashi is a very big part of the series,I think him as main character and not as a supporting, due to his huge influence to the plot.A great shinobi, proficient with in all ninja areas.

I guess that makes them even, since kakashi also to out one in the beginning. and he helped shika take out another one vs Hidan. So you could say Kakashi took out 3 hearts.

he got the first of Kakuzu's hearts, was involved in destroying another one (the blood for Hidans ritual) and he dealth the finishing blow to Kakuzu, litterly ending his life, so how did Kakashi not kill him? :)

and don't forget that Kakshi was the first one to kill one of the 6'th paths of pain in the invasion of konoha arc (the guy with the explosions)

and Kakshi did not get killed by pain, he chose to sacrifice himself to save choiji so he could give Tsunade (and everyone else) the vital information of Shinra Tensi and how to counter it, He could have chosen to do nothing and then Choiji would have died, and kakashi would have survived the fight.

This and lets not forget he waisted half his chakra fighting hidan and kakuzu at the same damn time while team 10 was just team stand and do nothing (minus shikamaru...he helped)

Not to mention he tangled with Sasuke after he killed Danzo. Hold on was he still with Akatsuki then? Either way good thread.
