I thought Manda solo'd Gamabunta and Katsuyu. I may misinterpret, but Manda would at least have beaten Katsuyu if Gamabunta didn't interfere. And on pair with the salamander? Maybe not..

I thought Manda solo'd Gamabunta and Katsuyu. I may misinterpret, but Manda would at least have beaten Katsuyu if Gamabunta didn't interfere. And on pair with the salamander? Maybe not..

If Manda had eaten Katsuyu, he would have died due to Katsuyu destroying him from the inside out.
Also if they fought a full out battle Bunta might have had a snake skin wallet. He has not only his stream of oil and his kenjutsu but his water bullet as well. Manda really can compete. He just wraps and bites.
In terms of ability Manda is the worst of the sannin summons
