[Theory] Madara's chakra sensing skills

While I was reading chapter 628 this morning, I came across something I thought was odd.

While this might not seem odd, Madara seems to be an offensive type ninja rather than a sensory type ninja, much like Sasuke. And remember that Sasuke had to bring a sensory type ninja (Karin) to find Danzo. **Although it is stated at NarutoWiki that he is a sensor (though it hasn't really been shown)

Definition: While every ninja can distinguish between chakra and sense it, there are those that can sense better, farther, and more accurately than others... These are sensory type ninja.

So I came up with several possibilities. The first few have to do with the timeline, as we don't know for sure here Sasuke and the others are during this fight.

-this takes place before Hashirama started his flashback: when Tobirama gets angry, Hashirama flares his chakra to suppress him.

-this takes place as Sasuke and co are moving towards the battle, which begs the question: why didn't Madara sense Hashirama sooner.... like when Hashirama flared his charka...

-Madara now has Hashirama's cells in his body. Zestu is almost a perfect copy of Hashirama, and the white one was a sensory type ninja. So it could be that because of his "upgrade" Madara has increased his sensory type skills.

-The rinnegan: while fighting Kabuto, itachi stated that he couldn't sense the chakra. Rather it was Nagato who sensed the chakra. It can be assumed that Nagato had skilled sensory type skills. So it either came from his rinnegan or uzumaki heratige. While it seems more likely that the sensory type skills come from the Uzumaki bloodline, the rinnegan's abilities cannot be ruled out...

In conclusion: I find it most likely to be a combination. Madara's sensory skills have been amplified by Hashirama's cells. The most likely timeframe for the story to be now is the place where Hashirama flares his chakra.

I think ninja in hashi n madara time period were just overall better ninjas. Since they were constantly in war they develop defense rather quicker then the peaceful ninja today. Just my opinion.

True, then Naruto should be able to sense sasuke.... He is in the same area as Hashi, and Naruto's sensing > Madara's sensing

Madara has Hasi's cell I would think he should be able to detect more of it by default. Afterall he only detected Hashirama and no on else.

Haven't Naruto fought Sasuke like 3 or 4 times?? Madara and Hashirama have been going at it since they were kids.

Edit - Also, you can tell Madara's been waiting for Hashirama since he was first resurrected as no one else has been able to pose a problem, whereas Naruto is almost exhausted from chakra consumption.

True. Madara and hashirama have fought so much that can tell each other's chakra. Naruto and sasuke only fought several times, but I think they would be able to tell each other apart, based on how closely Naruto tried to get sasuke back

Agreed, the Hashi cell's helped him sense his chakra when Hashirama decided to shake the world.
