Why I think Edo Hashirama beats Edo Madara

And I DISAGREE with you. I believe that Madara has of now surpassed Hashirama solely due o the Rinnegan. Even though his Wood Style Ninjutsu as we have seen is inferior to Hashirama's, Madara has more than enough other moves to compensate for that weakness.

Now let me break down the Rinnegan for you.

With godly power, this Dojutsu granted Madara multiple abilities that boggle the mind!

• Master of the Elements
  The Rinnegan automatically gives the owner mastery over ALL Elemental bases of Ninjutsu, barring those of Kekkei Genkai (as far as we know at least). This gives the Rinnegan user the free will to master pretty much any Ninjutsu of ANY natural element that he/she damn well pleases.
  
  
  [*]Human Path
  This path grants the user the ability to read an opponents mind and instantaniously rip their souls from their very bodies. All that is needed is a single touch and it's theoretically all over for the unfortunate opponent.
  
  [*]Naraka Path
  This path allows the user to control a diety known as the King of Hell. With this ability, the user may interrogate opponents and store captured souls within the Hell King's body. It is only visible to those of which the user is touching.
  
  [*]Preta Path
  The Preta Path allows the user to absorb chakra of any nature. Whether it be a Kekkei Genkai, Elementally based, or raw chakra, nothing is safe from this monsterous ability. The siphened chakra is then added to the user's resouvuar to be used at any time he/she pleases.
  
  [*]Asura Path
  This path allows the user to take on a semi-bionic body. It allows the growth of 4 extra bionic arms, lazer cannons, tracking missiles, and large, jagged blades. This ability literally allows the Rinnegan bearer to unleash a barrage of modern mortar, heat-seeking missiles, AND Chakra Lazer Cannons upon any unsuspecting opponent. Also, it can be used physically with large blades that can also be manifested. Be somewhere else if Madara breaks out THIS ability.
  
  [*]Animal Path
  This ability allows the user to summon several unorthodox chimera to do battle for them. Aside from their gargantuan size, varying shapes, abilities, and monster strength, they also share the Rinnegan eyes, which allows for linked vision between the chimera and the master.
  
  [*]Deva Path
  The strongest of the Rinnegan's 7 paths. The Deva path allows for the manipulation of gravity itself. With this, the user automatically ascends to a near godly level of power.
  
  
  
  
  

  1. Almighty Push
     The most basic ability of the Rinnegan's Deva Path. This ability allows for the repulsion of gravity in the form of a nearly unstoppable shockwave of pure gravity, which repels anything form ninja tools, human bodies, and even chakra itself. The larger the size of this blast, the more damage done.
     
     However, it also comes with a price. Once used, the user must incur at least a 5 second cooldown period in which the Deva path abilities cannot be utilized.
     
     
  2. Universal Pull
     The secondary ability of the Deva Path. It is pretty much the polar opposite of Almighty Push, in which it uses a strong gravitational force to pull the opponent close to the user. It also allows for the manipulation of physical objects similar to telekenisis.
     
     
  3. Planetary Devastation
     The final and strongest ability of the Deva Path. This ability allows the user to create a small sphere of pure gravitational energy. Oncew released, it ripps pieces of the earths crust completely away from its settlement on the ground and crushes it into mear debris and rock. Once prolongued, the structure will form a large celestial body comprised of earthfipped from the surface of the planet. The size of the celestial body can vary between a body the size of a few mountains to the size of the moon itself. If you are caught withing this gravitational pull, there is no escape unless the black hole is destroyed.
     
  4. Shattered Heaven
     This Jutsu is a derivitive and a hybrid Jutsu of the Mangekyou Sharingan's Susano'o and the Rinnegan's Deva Path's Universal Pull. This jutsu causes the Susano'o to form handsigns, which greatly augment the power of the Universal Pull, so much that it allows for a MASSIVE Meteor to be pulled into the atmosphere. With the augmented Chakra, the meteor can be controlled in the aspect of speed of descent, size, and flight path. Now do you understand? Now do you see the power of the Rinnegan? Madara doesn't NEED Wood style on par with Hashirama (which his is DAMN close). His Perfect Final Susano'o is a MAJOR force to be reconed with, along with the Rinnegan, Madara is literally on a COMPLETELY different level than he was in his prime.

The fight will be HELL for the both of them, but I believe Madara will come out on top in this fight.
