Cmon this is where Kakashi dies for real right? I mean, there is literally no chance of escape. He's not going to turn Obito good because that's ridiculous and we've just had 2 characters become good so it wouldn't work.

Kakashi will have to fight 1 v 1 with Obito, it's a fantastic match-up but Kakashi has no chance. Get ready to say goodbye to Kakashi, that's all i'm saying. Before every final battle there is always one sub-battle where a main character will die. It happened in Soul Eater, FMA, Gurren Lagann and most fight anime.

I personally love how they've split up the war finally, this should give us a chance for some quality Obito dialogue and also learning why Kakashi killed Rin.

I don't agree at all. Kakashi is a better tactician and has way better strategic and analytical skills then Obito. Plus Kakashi is not over confident and arrogant to others abilities.

However, I do agree that its so cool that they are splitting up the war! I'm excited to see how it goes.

OT: if my question above turns out true then realizing that kakashi didn't kill rin may change obito's entire outlook. and if that happens he's destined to pull a nagato and rinne tensei the war victims. that'd be really cheesy tho. i think kakashi and obito will fight but i doubt either is dying before minato shows up.

Kakashi will lose. While dying he will tell Obito what happened. That will send him into a rage and he will become the Jinchuuriki.

If anything, Kishi might make it seem like Kakashi won. He will exit the dimension and bam!! Obito will appear and kill his ass.

This is what I was thinking. What Kakashi or Obito have to say (in regards with Rin) will greatly influence the outcome of the fight in my opinion.

Cloak or not cloak Kakashi still can't win, he's exhausted and less skilled than Obito. Also what point to the narrative would it serve if Kakashi just got transported there dramatically and then just transported right back? That would be awkward and in my opinion Kakashi will die here.

Not only because he's outmatched, but because Kishi has made such a big deal of sending him there and also Kakashi is death target no.1. He's going to die before the end of this war and this is the perfect time to do it.

It's unlikely that Kishi would've made such a major deal in taking them there otherwise, Kakashi is on his last legs and will not win.

Have fun when that doesn't happen. Kakashi is the likeliest character to die out of everyone, has been for a while.

It's interesting that you mention the fact that factors other than strength influence the probability of Kakashi dying.

I think so too. This whole chapter was mostly about Obito finally starting to rethink his motives. Even Kakashi was picking up on this.

A lot of you are going to be surprised in the next few chapters, don't underestimate Kakashi. The kyuubi cloak must be really helpful if Kakashi was confident in teleporting the entire juubi. Also Kakashi isn't stupid he's not going to fight a fight if he thinks he has no chance of winning. What makes obito so much more powerful than Kakashi? They both have kamui and obito hasn't even shown that he can use the rinnegan abilities. Not to mention Kakashi has experience in fighting both sharingan and rinnegan users.

I would've thought it was entirely predictable that this is how Kakashi's tragic story ends. Kakashi has been on the top of Kishi's hitlist for a while now.

We have no proof that Obito cant use rinnegan. Kakashi has rinnegan experience but how well did that go? He died. Obito killed all of those ninja when he was 12 and went head to head against the 4th Hokage at a similar age. I'm sure Obito is slightly stronger than Kakashi and we can't even be sure the fox cloak wouldnt be cut off in the other dimension. The odds are looking against Kakashi, no hate- just where the plot points.

Well...if not for kakashi no one is able to actually hit Tobi.

And besides, he still has the kyuubi's chakra cloak wich boosts him.
He might actually be a decent challenge at the least, but likely will use some retarded plot no jutsu just to ruin the fight with.
