Why is the juubi still against the alliance

I dont get it I thought the juubi was just doing what Madara and Obito were telling him to do but now it seems that the Juubi really is on the side of obito. I thought after the connection was cut that that Naruto and the alliance would be the ones trying to control the juubi.

The Juubi has performed NO concentrated attacks on the alliance since being disconnected from the Uchiha. It is just doing random acts of distruction at this moment.

Its just that the alliance is attacking it thats why its attacking them, if Madara and Obito give it a reason then it will attack them too.
