Should be legal, but legal = more money, I would like to be able to actually buy a quarter or an O without breaking the bank. Of course it can always be legalized and weed will still be on the market illegally, so nevermind that.

It's it's legalized, they'll tax the hell out of it. Which will cause people to go ahead and keep buying it illegally. I'm fine with it being legalized, I really see no problem with the substance.

I feel that even though marijuana can't effect you in harmful ways, it still shouldn't be done. The fact stands that it's illegal, and thats all the reason you need to not do it.

I have no problem with weed. But I acknowledge that it's illegal, to say the very least. I never said it made any sense, considering it's less harmful than cigarettes and alcohol, both of which are legal.

You wouldn't be buying it from the government you'd be buying from private companies.

As for cost, it would actually be cheaper when legal. Dealers have a lot more risk and need to maximize profit to make the business worthwhile. They wouldn't be able to compete with a legal manufacturer who can mass produce it and sell it dirt cheap. Also the average person would much rather buy it legally than illegally.

Legalize it and tax it. It'll bring in a huge amount of money and cripple a huge source of income for gangs and cartels. Some of it might get made up through harder drug sales, but thats a much smaller market.
