Well I doubt she's strong enough to be a lieutenant. She's practically a baby. Plus she has never been shown to fight in times of need so we should assume she can't fight very well until proven otherwise.

Not true yachiru has immense power which has been shown she has not had screen time during serious fights yet why because they are building up to it still. Think about it 7 years is a lot left to tell about everything so she will soon get focus probly after zaraki tells her of what happened to unohana things will progress with her then.

How strong is she, exactly? That's fairly hard to gauge. With that being said, she's far above the average shinigami.

• She has no issue with being in the vicinity of Zaraki (his reiatsu can force people to their knees or knock them out)
• She, herself, has at least enough reiatsu to scare an average-level shinigami away [

He gave her that name because it belonged to the only person he ever admired, he wasn't thinking of her strength.​

The only problem with that theory is that everyone can clearly see her.
When Zangetsu appeared near Zaraki, only Ichigo noticed him. Also, she wasn't around when Zaraki heard his Zanpakutō.​

Well technically we have seen Zangetsu manifest for everyone to see, Ichigo's hollow... At the end of the first Arc he explains the hollow and him are the same soul. So when Ichigo dies or gets near death Zangetsu pops out and saves him.

As for Zaraki, i would like to refer them to Magnets with the same polarity. They are exactly Ichigo's opposite and their power is strong enough that it repels and is uncontrolable so it would be safe for me to say that because of that Yachiru is able to be seen by everyone, which would be almost unique.

I do not disagree with you at all, except one point, Zaraki hasn't heard his Zanpakuto just yet... the rest is just my own theory
