Basically what the title says, I love medieval sort of shows and I know its not exactly fantasy like Lord of the rings but I was wondering if its worth the time watching it all from the beginning? Does it have good fight scenes and story characters etc? Whats it about? Thanks

Interesting characters with a rich plot, you find a faction you like and cheer it on. There isn't a lot of fighting but they deliver later on with an epic battle.

WATCH IT!

p.s. Tryion is epic.

Yes! Jesus f'ing Christ, yes!! Watch it, love it, and miss it for 9 months a year! :)

Edit: The characters are what drives the shows. It has very realistic action. If you get stabbed, you'll most likely die and so on. Despite its fantastical elements, it's very real life, and no character is ever safe. It's not about happy endings :)

Its got grit, wit, and tits.
It may start off slow but it's not the action that brings you back its the mystery, plotting, and politics. As you watch you will slowly piece together elements from the past and why people do what they do in the present. The characters and their development are on a whole different level than anything you'll ever watch. Everyone seems to be out for themselves and those who aren't don't usually live long. Its a cruel world they live in but it's completely devoid of plot armor and supports realistic action like crazy. Pretty much if a character gets into a situation where he should die odds are he will die. Its like looking at a fantastical, medieval, Roman Empire.
The only warning I'll give you is don't get attached to any one character. Odds are tragedy is in store for them.
