i think : sakumo Hatake killed himself in a way that he could not be resurrected with edo tensei
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
edo tensei : To perform this technique, the user must first acquire some of the DNA of the person they intend to reincarnate. Kabuto remarks that this basically amounts to grave-robbing, although blood stains or organs salvaged after the target's death also work. The soul of the intended reincarnated must also reside in the pure world. for example, those whose soul has been consumed by the Death God cannot be reincarnated. However, if it is a case where the souls are freed from inside the Shinigami, then a user of this technique is free to reincarnate them once again
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i think : when sakumo killed himself it must have been in a way where he was completely destroyed himself and/or because he killed self he could not go to the pure world.

Well. Tjats not my theory but I'm the one who gives busted and confirmed stamps.
And to not go to the pure world you have to seal you away just like minato did and he is not an uzumaki so i think he was not very good at sealing or could not seal, he was known ad the whitefang, a tough fighter who was respected at the village for leading :)

So my stamp:

Doesn't seem too in character but hey, Kabuto was a loose cannon.

Also didn't we see like a panel of Sakumo dead on the floor?

he could have set the place on fire, or used paper explosives, or something like what danzo did

Yeap, but when he met Kakashi after his death,Sakumo said that "At last I can move and meet your mother" so no,his soul moved on and could have been summoned with edo.
But then again,I don't find a reason why Kabuto should edoed every single ninja who was mentioned in the manga. He already had a powerfull collection of edos. There was no point for the plot for Sakumo to be summoned. He had settled things with his son and Kakashi was already shocked by Obito's revelation, another shock for him would just drag the plot way too much on an unnecessary extent.

Honestly according to me, Kabuto did not completely perfect edo tensie..
Did Orochimaru needed the dead bodies and dna of the four hokages inorder to resurrect them?? NO!! He simply sacrificed four white zetsu's

we dont know how she died, and we dont know if her soul and his soul ever went to the pure world,
kabuto knows sakumo is very famous and powerful
and how would kabuto know about kakashi meeting his dads soul, kakashi would have been devastated if had to fight his dead dad

Kakashi's father was very famous among the Leaf.I am sure if his mother had done something to deserve her soul to go into the "impure" world something like that would have been mentioned at some point.
Furthermore, Kabuto had no idea that Kakashi would be a division comander or that he would play such an important role to the war.He revived the OP kages and some other OP ninjas and people he already had info about,to be able to contol them better.I honestly don't find any reason for Kabuto to edo Sakumo.

Its because his body was desecrated or burned. It's common to give posthumous execution to traitors, that's why Kakashi never visited his father's grave in Konoha because there is none.

I'm pretty sure Kabuto could bring anyone back with a strand of their hair, so I doubt the whole "there wasn't enough DNA" is a valid argument.

He musta been suicidal and [killed his soul] because Asuma Sensei still had a good heart when he was resurrected and forced to fight with Edo Tensei.
