Itachi doesn't need Sharingan to take a dump on Shikamaru. He already has far greater speed than him, far greater reactions than him, not to mention he is far stronger than him in terms of physical strength.

If Itachi was stupid, Shikamaru could win, but Itachi is no fool, so using intelligence to make up for the physical differences won't work as well as planned.

itachi destroys him... he's still 5 in ninjutsu, genjutsu, speed and taijutsu without sharingan. the sharingan doesn't instantly give him these skill, it just helps use them effectively.

NB: Considering you use itachi at 16, where he definitely doesn't have a disease and 2 years after he was able to duo his clan and become the leader of anbu, that's quite possibly shikamaru loses mid diff.

Sry but read the rules no sharigan so tsukuyomi. Also if you think his 5 in genjutsu isn't due to his sharigan your crazy.
If you take away his sharigan he is just like saskue part 1 but a little more talented in ninjutsu.
The bad thing bout this fight is itachi's skills b4 he awoke his sharigan aren't really that known. So that means its hard to say what he could or couldn't do with put the sharigan.
Think about it no sharigan means no tsukuyomi no amertasu no sasanoo and he can't predict where Shikamaru's moves are coming from.
You aren't giving Shikamaru any credit. What has itachi been shown doing that wasn't sharigan based?
All I'm saying is think about it b4 you start saying itachi wins easy.

it's clear you hate itachi. if that were remotely true then sasuke's genjutsu would be on the level of itachi's. It isn't even close.

Sorry I didn't see the restriction and yes itachi is pretty weak without his sharingan but he has pretty efficient tai jutsu as seen with naruto, shikamaru presumably sucks when it comes to hand to hand fighting and his nin jutsu is pretty good too and the uchiha clan are known for their remarkable chakra and fighting skills he still wins dude

To name a few...

It's been shown in the anime and manga that no one uses their ninja tools to their advantage like Shikamaru.
So I think between the 2 its even with ninja tools.
With the clones it will cause a huge distraction but Shikamaru is so smart that he could come up with a plan to counter.
If they fought itachi would have to be careful when he uses his tijutsu cause if he gets to close then Shikamaru can catch him in a shadow.
I don't hate itachi I just think he would have a hard time beating him without his sharigan.
And if you don't think so your crazy.
He loses his best skills and his best defense with no sharigan.
Without his sharigan itachi isn't nearly as strong.
