How do you keep yourself fit, or are you struggling to do so?
Let's face it for some people, keeping fit does not fit into our schedule. Having so much on your mind, that after a hard day all you wanna do is sit on your couch and watch your favorite show without having to worry about anything until the next day.
Also eating healthy is just a big turn off, the tasteless foods, bland and plain, you rather just stuff yourself with your favorite meals. That's when you start to notice you put on a few pounds. All of a sudden, exercise fits into your busy schedule. So why start now? Why not before? For some people they don't begin until they notice a huge change.
Losing weight and keeping fit is one of the hardest things a person can do, those temptations, the days you just want to crash and stop worrying to just simply relax.
However, keeping fit and healthy doesn't mean giving up on those tasty fast foods you love. Giving them up would be a huge mistake. You can still eat them, not just everyday.
I work 4 days a week, having Thursday off. I wake up at 5am and I get home at 6pm, I also have university work to think about, essays and crap. Bills and other duties. Yeah, it can be tough REALLY tough, but exercising is what helps me relax, it reduces my stress and makes me feel good. 30-45 minutes a day with 2 days of relaxation and some weights to keep my strength up.
I indulge in take out once every two weeks, cause lets face it, I can cook, I wasn't a sous chef for no reason and I'm not gonna put my skills to waste, I can whip up a healthy meal and you wouldn't even guess if it were healthy or not.
So my question is to you NB'ers, how do you keep fit? And if you're struggling, perhaps friendly members can give you a few tips.
