One of the reasons I think this would make sense is that Rikudou was also called the "Messiah", wasn't he? See the connection? A God that wants to destroy humanity for its evil doing and a Messiah that stands up for mankind and takes all evil by himself?

And the fact of the Juubi and Rikudou being Sealed Beast and Host respectively is just the perfect excuse for saying they are one sole being.

Thank you Chatte, I've always believed that Kishimoto's plan for the ending of the series is not a battle between good and evil, but a reunification of Man and Nature, Naruto will convince the Juubi to believe in humanity's will.

But would a TnJ be enough for the Juubi to consider believing in humanity's will. I mean hey if it worked on Nagato then I guess the Juubi as well lol. But I dunno if that'd be a great ending of just Naruto talking to the thing and then poof the world is saved. It seems to easy. Plus how will Naruto keep his promise to maintain the peace that the Juubi aspired to see in this world? Sooner or later, there's gonna be that one guy that'll think "hey I want more power. I think I'll kill some poeple to get some". Next thing you know war's are gonna start again and hatred will consume the world once more. So how will it be possible for Naruto to keep that huge promise to the Juubi? It's a mystery I tells ya.

Yeah i also noticed this a while back,and i agree with you.This makes me think that the origin of the uchiha hatred was in fact the juubi's chakra that manifested itself from the juubi to the s06p and through him to the sage's older son.Thoughts?

for all we know thats a lie curse of hatred..... dint happend with itachi, and for the other characters its perfectly normal to have your family taken away form you and want revenge would you not?

Well considering Naruto already united the whole Shinobi world for a single cause it's not farfetched for it to convince Juubi to forgive humanity for its' sins, afterall he is the child of prophecy.

I dunno man. A lot of people are gonna get butthurt if that ending actually happened. They're gonna feel cheated, but I guess this ending theory is the most sensical out of all the other theories I've heard.

Yeah you have a point,but as Sir Derp Obito's and mine theory suggests the ten tails actually wanted to exterminate humanity due to the violence caused by the actions of the humans.This show that the juubi's intentions were pure but his way wasn't.If you looked into Itachi's character more deeply you would see that itachi thinking was just like a hokage and he wasn't inclined just to his clan,he saw the bigger picture of this world and its working.I think this was one the characteristics of the juubi,that he saw the bigger picture and thus,decided that humans were making the world more violent and not peaceful,so we needed to be exterminated but he was stopped by S06p.
