why would kishi have obito call neji a fodder when its kishis fault he is a fodder
neji hasnt been in a fight since the beginning of the series
hes had no development and kishi goes and kills him
and the thing is he not only died protecting the strongest character in the series but he died without showing off any powerful techniques so basically he never got stronger from start of the series to end.
one of the strongest in his generation but kishi lets him become fodder in part two

i could go on with my rant but i wont

i just wanted to express the fact that kishi is really messed up for this

Well Neji was the only one to reach jounin so he wasn't complete fodder, he was still doing plenty of missions and such just sucks we didn't actually see them. But no he definitely got stronger.

Yeah, it also disappointed me. I was sad none of the Konoha 11, except Naruto and Sauske, got any character development no one really grew, they all became fodder. It is really depressing. I wanted to see more Lee, Neji, and Shino. Strike that the only ones that had any growth of the K11 were Choji, Shikamaru, and somewhat Sakura.

You do not know what the word fodder is; please look up what fodder is in Urban Dictionary.

Also, this is Obito talking, not Kishimoto. An author is skilled if he's able to put aside his personality and add in separate ones that work with the individual character. This is Obito trying to demoralize Naruto and the Shinobi Alliance.

It was special how Kishimoto portrayed Neji's death. Neji proved that the Branch Family members have just as much importance as a shinobi as the Main Family does. Neji's death shows him with a smile on his face declaring that he was finally free from his cursed seal. The newest manga cover shows Neji wrapped in a bird-shaped Kyubi cloak, symbolizing freedom.
