[Question] Are there any theories on Luffys mother?

I once read a theory that she's the sister of the former Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. She felt a grudge against the Government after her brother's execution and formed the Revolutionaries as their first leader. She fell in love with Dragon, who was a soldier in the Revolutionaries at the time, and later gave birth to Luffy. Not long after, she died by the hand of the Marines, and Dragon took her place as the leader.

LOL horrible joke aside.....hard to say. I think she's either a Civillian or she's a Marine.

Grandfather: Marine
Husband/"Friend with Benifit": Revolutionary
Son: Pirate

Going on the idea that they fill up 3/4ths of the "Factions" you can choose...it is possible that Luffy's mother fills up the role of a Civillian. Considering each Monkey member is well known, famous, or high in rank in their respective fields, I find it highly possible/believeable that Luffy's mother may be a World Noble.


Other than that, I would say she's a marine (or was). My guess is that if she was a Marine: 1) She'd be Garp approved for his son. 2) It could be that her death or some Government related conspiracy is what led to Dragon becoming a revolutionary.

Yeah, we fully discussed the issue of Luffy's mother in everything.

Ever since Crocodile was defeated. There was only one seat for NEXT Shichibukai.

It was unexpected that Teach became Shichibukai.

One thing led to another.

Teach resigned

Came after that Law and Buggy.

One more Shichibukai resigned that is Doflamingo.

Which brings the idea of chances that Luffy's mother could appear as NEW Shichibukai.

But whatever the situation was. Luffy's mother story will be told some day.

I think it'd be interesting if Luffy's mom was a celestial dragon, however I don't mean those fat obnoxious ones I mean what if one of the celestial dragons was actually kind and didn't treat people like crap, sort of how like Sabo was the only decent Noble in the town Luffy and Ace lived near.

Perhaps if she was a celestial dragon she was killed after giving birth to Luffy for getting involved with someone with the initial D.
